I don't mind the steal attempt at all. Bradley vs. Loup is almost an auto out and the noise level must be huge. Not a bad idea.

Loup is not the Loup of 2013 he's been iffy the past 3 years and as much as I think he's improved now, JBJ is 2/2 and he still has an OBP > .300 against lefties so I'm not sure what's so automatic about this. If he gets on a walk you have Pedroia up

Velocity isn't the concern. He will likely have success in short stints where he only throws his fastball and breaking ball.
