Navarro isn't great, no one is saying he is. He's still better than Thole and that makes it a damn good thing we have him while Martin is down.

 

There's probably not a huge difference in Value between Thole and Navarro if you factor in advanced D catcher stats.

Thole doesn't let all them balls pass tonight. Navvy's better at calling and maybe blocking, that's it.

You might be right, but I bet if you walk around the clubhouse and ask who they'd rather see behind the dish, everyone other than Dickey would probably say they have more confidence in Navarro than Thole to play everyday in Martin's absence. At least you can say Navarro is having an off year which is putting him in Thole territory, Thole just belongs there.

I usually skip the alcohol instead. can't take both and the meds last longer. really hate the morning after when the alcohol wears off and the pain is screaming. worth it now and then but can't do it often.

Same, my rule is drinks are every 3 days. Yet I told my Docs I can't stand the heavy s***, so I deal with the pain on Aleve, prescribed, 1 pill is 2 Aleve, per say. They give me wicked nightmares; Perks/ demoral/ morphine, etc... yuck.

 

My Sister's B-day tonight... she's out partying and I'm about to be lambasted by drunk chicks and alcohol till sunlight.
