Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Why does this take so long to get another ump ready?
el duque Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 And getting a guy on 3rd less than 2 outs on base 2 times a game and succeeding at a 5% rate. The rest of baseball has to be at least 50% success. That's a crap load of runs we have left off the board. We are in first only because of our pitching. Dont let thE 1 game every 10 days scoring 12 runs fool you. This offense is the least consistent in baseball. I do not know whether is the offense or the manager, we had the same issue during playoffs last year, playoffs' baseball is very different and scoring opportunities are rare, our team needs a strategy to score in situations like the one we just saw, Kansas city excel at that kind of baseball
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Why does this take so long to get another ump ready? A lot of equipment.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Why does this take so long to get another ump ready? Completely changing uniform...Probably relaxing a bit in the AC as well.
Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Well I hope the break doesn't mess with Sanchez.

We just need to adjust our approach and change the mindset from...HR...to single or Fly ball. That would probably at least increase our success rate.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Ump with the big strikezone
Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Ump with the big strikezone I'm ok with that with the 3 run lead.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Damn...you already talked to Edwin. Can I get an introduction some time. Anytime during a game works.....lol No he's only available post-game on Sunday's I can introduce him to you then
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 No he's only available post-game on Sunday's I can introduce him to you then Haha...but isn't that when he has alone time with Barry
Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Damn 6 inches off the plate a strike lol.
el duque Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 he only has to put in play close to 3rd base
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Haha...but isn't that when he has alone time with Barry Nah, barry likes to just stand in the corner and watch!
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 This ump doesn't even have the "I have been calling that all day" excuse. He's straight up changing the rules of the game in the fourth inning. Just brutal.
Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I hope letting Gallardo off the hook doesn't come back to haunt them.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Pillar just has zero awareness of the strike zone.
Vialotor Verified Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Fastball right down the middle 3-2...and he takes it, seen that so much this year.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Nah, barry likes to just stand in the corner and watch! You win
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 And that one's not a strike because?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Sanchez not sharp so far, probably very rusty
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Travis!!!! Crazy play!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 What a play man, that was fantastic.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 The s*** version o Sanchez is here waooo Devon
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Dear BABIP, gfy -Dev
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 And that one's not a strike because? Seems to me Gallardo is getting every borderline call.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 If I was starting, I'd live 1 or 2 inches off the strike zone on the outside corner. The ump is calling that for a strike every time.
