There's a difference between debbie downers and being pissed off at a currently highly underachieving team (oh and wanting Smoak to be put out to pasture).

That's the beauty of baseball. Anyone can win on any given night. We're tied in first so life is good for us Jays fans. Enjoy it. Enjoy it so hard.

Yeah, well there are those of us who want more than being tied in first after 20+ years of mediocrity (and with a team that should win the division). Point being, this team should be fun to watch right now, and it isn't.

 

No, that does not mean I wish for them to be in w/e BS position Belliss posted about the other day.

I guess sac flys are one of the hardest things to do in baseball...and just putting the ball in play with bases loaded. It's not like any other team can do it right?

This is such a dumb comment. Even the best teams in the league will lose 60+ games a season. Not every game will be "fun" to watch.

Struggling over the past 2 weeks but I like it going forward with Donaldson, Bautista, EE, Travis, etc. for the rest of the season.

 

Jump off the ledge though, I'm sure you'll be back if we go out and put up 10 tomorrow.

You're definitely being unreasonable here. There are 6 weeks left in the season and we're tied for 1st place. A lot can happen. There is still a high possibility the Jays win the division, even if we lose the next 5 in a row.

9th/30 in team wRC+. I'd say that's competent.

 

Consistent offense is probably a better term. We usually go 5 days of 2 or 3 runs then score 10+ to even the stats out. Usually not a good way to win a lot of games though.

History is full of examples of players who went back to the minors and got better...or changed teams and got better.. or played on an offense with a lot of good players...and got better
