gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Nice shutdown inning from Feldman. LETS GO BLUE JAYS! No MiLB games on tonight?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Still lots of beisbol left to be played! That's right! Lot's of debbie downers in here tonight Havok!
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 No MiLB games on tonight? There's always MiLB games on.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 That's right! Lot's of debbie downers in here tonight Havok! There's a difference between debbie downers and being pissed off at a currently highly underachieving team (oh and wanting Smoak to be put out to pasture).
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 That's what happens when you don't start a GDt

That's the beauty of baseball. Anyone can win on any given night. We're tied in first so life is good for us Jays fans. Enjoy it. Enjoy it so hard.

Enjoy it. Enjoy it so hard. Yeah, well there are those of us who want more than being tied in first after 20+ years of mediocrity (and with a team that should win the division). Point being, this team should be fun to watch right now, and it isn't. No, that does not mean I wish for them to be in w/e BS position Belliss posted about the other day.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Yeah, well there are those of us who want more than being tied in first after 20+ years of mediocrity (and with a team that should win the division). Undefeated record or riot.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Oh just shut the f*** up dumbass. I guess sac flys are one of the hardest things to do in baseball...and just putting the ball in play with bases loaded. It's not like any other team can do it right?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Undefeated record or riot. Competent offence?
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 A game to forget. Bad performance all around. Get the series tomorrow.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Yeah, well there are those of us who want more than being tied in first after 20+ years of mediocrity (and with a team that should win the division). Even the best teams in the league will lose 60+ games a season. Not every game will be "fun" to watch.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Montero 3-4 tonight with a double, now hitting .311 There is no way he'd be worse than Smoak.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Competent offence? Struggling over the past 2 weeks but I like it going forward with Donaldson, Bautista, EE, Travis, etc. for the rest of the season. Jump off the ledge though, I'm sure you'll be back if we go out and put up 10 tomorrow.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Competent offence? 9th/30 in team wRC+. I'd say that's competent.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 This is such a dumb comment. Even the best teams in the league will lose 60+ games a season. Not every game will be "fun" to watch. And you're just a basket of intelligence and reason I guess?

Lmao I like how there's been like 10 other people in this thread sharing similar sentiments and I'm the one who gets ******** like this.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 And you're just a basket of intelligence and reason I guess? You're definitely being unreasonable here. There are 6 weeks left in the season and we're tied for 1st place. A lot can happen. There is still a high possibility the Jays win the division, even if we lose the next 5 in a row.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Montero 3-4 tonight with a double, now hitting .311 There is no way he'd be worse than Smoak. Actually, make that 4-5 from Montero tonight, .312 on the season. It's getting embarrassing.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 9th/30 in team wRC+. I'd say that's competent. Consistent offense is probably a better term. We usually go 5 days of 2 or 3 runs then score 10+ to even the stats out. Usually not a good way to win a lot of games though.

King is only good for milb posts or I'm sure 90% of us would have him on ignore. Every other post is obvious trolling and baiting. Just ignore it.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Actually, make that 4-5 from Montero tonight, .312 on the season. It's getting embarrassing. AAA is not the same as MLB dude. Montero has proven he can't hit in the big leagues.

History is full of examples of players who went back to the minors and got better...or changed teams and got better.. or played on an offense with a lot of good players...and got better
