I thought Miami would have taken a chance on him as a pinch hitter, backup 1B since he's from that area, and would be close to that milestone of 700 home runs. Seemed like a good fit.

 

714 is a $6M milestone HR for him though...although I suppose that is terminated with this contract. I liked the Yankees statement.

This is about you always making this your opinions known on how you think this board should run and about moderation. We haven't had big fights between the general public and mods since the off-season when we added new mods. Yet it seems like you want to make a good percentage about issues with mods and this board. I don't read enough of anyone's stuff these days to know if you add anything of value...yet of the past 50 or so reported posts 20 have been against you. Which makes me think you are a problem. My statement was pretty much, don't tell others what to do, and go about posting. If others language and posting style here are not for you, then there probably are boards that are more suited. I'd also suggest you not report mods...it's never really going to go well for you. Even though I'm sure everyone of the mods, except for Admin, Deadpool and myself feel that what I said was 100% inappropriate.

Seeing A-Rod meet those financial milestones would have been nice as a big FU to the Yankees. I think even better was him torpedoing the Yankees this year though.

so, I guess the yankees said they'd embarrass him by putting him on the bench every day until his contract was over or he could retire and take a buy out. He's been benched for about a month and I doubt he was ever going to see playing time again except for farewell games and it all had to be done now.

I'm sure there's a softer Jays forum out there for you, I personally like that people don't have to hold back as much here. Real life conversations aren't cushioned and censored for you, why do you need that out of a forum? I don't think you're ever going to find much success trying to change to parts of the internet that offend you, probably better off to avoid them.

Might just try to ignore the bullies on here. Can be difficult if you have an alternative opinion tho, because you the get the typical posters saying "mods", then your post gets deleted.i have no problem with real life conversations; it's the bullying and attacks when you have an alternative opinion.
