West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Upton and his leg kick, slowing his swing down.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 The big boys are doing a great job by laying back on the breaking ball.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Upton and his leg kick, slowing his swing down. He's on the right team if he needs help with timing a leg kick! Beauty hit!!
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Nice to see Upton go opposite field
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Nice approach by Upton. One of the adjustments he has made. Not hard hit but was good approach. Should look to take second
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 The big boys are doing a great job by laying back on the breaking ball. Looks like Upton did that too, planted firmly before swinging at that pitch
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Delayed steal of home? That's my dream play
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Delayed steal of home? Not a bad time to put it on.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 O's just hit their 4th solo home run
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Thanks Dickey for this scrub.
BigBulgeBlueBird Verified Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Why the f*** are you waiting till Thole has 2 strikes to do that.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 O's just hit their 4th solo home run WTF won't like that. Adds up to a grand slam!
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Thanks Dickey for this scrub. He's 1-2. Give him a break
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Am I high, or were those homers an inning apart, and Buck just acted like they both happened that inning?
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 See? The Jays played the right way after EE's solo blast, they hit the ball went the other way, aggressive baserunning. They scored zero runs, but they made him work, that's all that counts.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 O's just hit their 4th solo home run If there's any team that is homerun or nothing, its the Orioles.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Nice approach by Upton. One of the adjustments he has made. Not hard hit but was good approach. Should look to take second I was thinking the same, but it was probably wise to guarantee Thole's at bat get completed this inning.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Am I high, or were those homers an inning apart, and Buck just acted like they both happened that inning? lol... you've been Buck'd!
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Am I high, or were those homers an inning apart, and Buck just acted like they both happened that inning? It's weird. I almost saw it like that too since I'm so used to seeing Jose and EE hit back to back.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Am I high, or were those homers an inning apart, and Buck just acted like they both happened that inning? Lol, i was scratching my head also. Buck is semi hammered.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 All I am saying is tell me how that trickles over to the playoffs, rarely do teams that sit back and wait for homeruns to win ball games ever do well in the playoffs. Okay let's end this: Blue Jays in 2016 entering today: Singles: 544 (27th in MLB) Doubles: 189 (T-5th in MLB) HRs: 150 (2nd in MLB) BBs: 409 (2nd in MLB) Elite power hitters up and down the order hit for both power and walk a ton. They're on base a lot. The home runs are an obvious boon, but this is hardly a team who "waits" for home runs. Or we could play like the Royals with their 693 singles, complemented by 90 home runs and 242 BBs.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 Going to be cool watching a 5'5 guy win MVP. Hopefully they don't take our playoff spot.
