Ok is Dickey fun to watch? No

Is he frustrating? Yes

 

However he for most part, does his job. Yes he is also brutal at times but hey those outings happen.

 

Lets hope we find an innings eater like him in the off season.

Can't say enough about the key pitching we saw tonight. Dickey with seven strong, Barnes comes out for his debut in a huge spot with ice water in his veins. Capped off with a save by a beauty picked up off the scrap heap. What a positive feeling coming out of a game that had the makings of a potential disaster.

How did Barnes look? I have the game on pvr, won't be able to watch it until tomorrow

 

Has really good movement on his pitches, the ball just disappear on the hitters. No wonder he did so well this season in the minors.

He looks good. Commands his fastball well to go along with a nice change. We'll need to see more of him before rendering him our saviour though.

She's got 10 pounds of makeup and still doesn't look great.
