THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Matt Moore to SF for Lucius Fox, Matt Duffy, and Chris Shaw.. Wtf is wrong with the Giants front office? That's horrendous, wow lol..
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 I think the only AL team that improved was Texas anyways
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Matt Moore to SF for Lucius Fox, Matt Duffy, and Chris Shaw.. Wtf is wrong with the Giants front office? Its the crappy Matt Duffy, not the good one LOL

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Are you kidding. He's been shut down in the pen 2.90 ERA and a 4.21 xFIP isn't really "shut down". But yeah he's good, no question about it. However he doesn't fill the rotation spot left empty by Sanchez going to the pen. Don't really trust Hutch there.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Its the crappy Matt Duffy, not the good one LOL No, it's the good one. The bad one is in the Astros org.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 No, it's the good one. The bad one is in the Astros org. Whaaaaaat the f***
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Matt Moore to SF for Lucius Fox, Matt Duffy, and Chris Shaw.. Wtf is wrong with the Giants front office? And the fleecing of the day goes to...
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 He's been great in the pen, can pitch out of the rotation. He basically costs far less than Hellickson would have cost. True, but we still need to fill in the rotation spot left empty by Sanchez. I wouldn't trust Hutch in that spot in an important September game.

King Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 So the full Rangers - Brewers trade is Luis Ortiz and Lewis Brinson for Lucroy and Jeffress? After all that. That's it?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 So the full Rangers - Brewers trade is Luis Ortiz and Lewis Brinson for Lucroy and Jeffress? After all that. That's it? Who won that, I don't recognize the Rangers names Yankees won the seller's market
Cyborg Verified Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 How did the Os steal Pearce? Would have been so much better than Upton.
King Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Who won that, I don't recognize the Rangers names Yankees won the seller's market Brinson is a toolsy guy that scouts love who is having a poor year in AA. Ortiz is a fat pitcher who could be a middle of the rotation starter. For Lucroy and Jeffress. Rangers pretty clearly come out on top here, I don't think it's close. I feel like I'm missing a part of the trade. What happened to Gallo?
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Man I'd be pissed if I was a Brewer fan

flafson Verified Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Damn, how the hell did the O's get Pearce? Should have been ours at that price
wamco Verified Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Sanchez in rotation, hutch and Barnes to pen. Does that work?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 How did the Os steal Pearce? Would have been so much better than Upton. I actually think Upton is a better fit for us, given his ability to cover CF as well, nab bases off the bench, and is under contract for next year at a good (for us) price. Both would have been fantastic though.
sdyment Verified Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Shi mentioned on TV, a late move still to be reported may happen. I'm guessing by this time, we would have heard. Anybody see any tweets or hear anything about this?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 So sad Ugh so orange. I wish they had a policy about gingers instead.

Both would have been fantastic though. Pearce is a far better hitter and not really a slouch defensively, plus more versatile. Pretty disappointing that he's going back to that shithole.

Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 So sad Say goodbye to having a personality, you're generic now.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Had a pretty solid year for the Dodgers last year. Lucroy and Jeffress both going to Texas, holy s***. So sad Time to get cleaned up.
