He's been great in the pen, can pitch out of the rotation. He basically costs far less than Hellickson would have cost.

Brinson is a toolsy guy that scouts love who is having a poor year in AA. Ortiz is a fat pitcher who could be a middle of the rotation starter.

 

For Lucroy and Jeffress. Rangers pretty clearly come out on top here, I don't think it's close. I feel like I'm missing a part of the trade. What happened to Gallo?

Pearce is a far better hitter and not really a slouch defensively, plus more versatile. Pretty disappointing that he's going back to that shithole.
