I'm actually suprised at this for all the reasons BTS mentioned in another thread yesterday. It doesn't excite me unless we get a better arm to replace him. At least with Storen we could always hope he would find it again. Having said that he was a gas can, and it tells me Shapiro is prepared to cut bait on major investments that aren't producing. I know Ben has has had a tough year but he was a big part of what happened in 2015. Speed, contact, OBP(for us) and filled a 2015 hole in LF.

If they wanted to DFA Storen, that's one thing, but calling up someone who is even worse than present-day Storen isn't helping anyone.

I doubt it, really good chance he goes unclaimed. Question is, when that does happen, will he accept a buffalo assignment?

Revere's hitting only .214/.263/.303, though his defense in CF is OK.. but the Nats need an upgrade badly.

They should add him, Storen's no longer on it, or won't be soon after his DFA period ends. How Barnes isn't on it, given what he's done his entire MiLB career is odd to me.

3 mill for 20 25 innings? Highly doubtful any teams are willing to piss away cash at this point, especially with a plethora of relievers available via trade that are way better options. Dave Stewart might grab him though

I used to enjoy the bobblehead days but now the lineups are stupid. No more than 3 years ago you could stroll in for 1pm and get them still. Luckily I live in the city so getting in early isn't too bad.
