Well if hes sore today that's pretty irrelevant. The guy had a major knee surgery. Blame who ever advised him to have part of the knee meniscus removed instead of rehabing it like he could have.

Bautista is playing RF in Dunedin today. Which is odd considering I thought the plan was to have him DH for awhile. Carerra not being put on the DL will tell you all you need to know about our OF depth or lack there of.

The most bizarre move is Travis not only being removed from the leadoff spot but below Lake. That's f***ing baffling. I actually don't hate Barney as a spot leadoff guy considering hes had great at-bats all season.

I just think Gibby went the complete wrong direction here. Barney leading off over Travis is stupid imo. Also, Barney playing LF instead of Travis is questionable as well. If I am right, didn't Travis play in the OF when he was coming up in the minors. Seems like he would be the one playing the OF in an emergency situation like today.

Someone in the organization must flat out dislike Pompey, no other logical explanation as to why he isn't up and Lake is.

Lake has been up since June 24th, almost a month, and has received 31 PA's. Pompey hasn't even come close to showing the consistency required to play at this level, let alone rot on the bench for a month when he could be developing.
