thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 He is pitching so terribly this game.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 I think its time to raise the white flag on this one.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Peacocking means dressing for attention. Just like Peacock's use their feathers to get a mate. Peacocking is meant to make opening a girl easier, but if you're not congruent with your look (like, if you look like you're gay and you try to hit on a girl), wires are gonna get crossed somewhere and you're gonna blow yourself out. Peacocking in Texas culture means to kind of poke your neck out and try to fire up a fight. Here in Canada and probably anywhere but backwards Texas, peacocking is what you described.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Everything is turning up Millhouse for The Land.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Terrible positioning by Carrera, he caught that flat footed.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Peacock? This ******** Texas slang has no business being here.

West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 I guess the silver lining here is that both home runs were solo.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 You're so damn cultured. When in Rome.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Stay uninformed, it's your play. You are the uninformed one in this thread
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Wow no runs, good job old man.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Adds to the game when the rich people on their phones don't pay attention and get pelted with foul balls over the screen. You're not rich?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 As bad as Dickey's pitching is, what I hate the most about him is how constipated he looks all the time.
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Wow no runs, good job old man. 100% luck.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2016 Posted June 30, 2016 Get Dickey out by the 6th We are losing this one anyways I say if we are down by more than 3 runs, let Dickey go the distance and give the bullpen the day off. Might as well get some value from him.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 You're not rich? What do you consider rich per year income?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 "A s*** ton of value"? A 200 IP league average starter does have value, but he's attached to a back-up catcher that shouldn't be in the Majors and being average does not equate to a "s*** ton" of value. If he was 2012 RA, then Thole could be here and I wouldn't give two shits, but if you're a 4.00 ERA/210 IP starter, then f***, that's average at best. Back-up catchers are s*** around the leagues, save for a few teams.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 100% luck. It wasn't 100% luck. The strikeout was pretty good.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 I just hope we score a run this weekend.
el duque Verified Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 As good as these Indians are we will see them playing for the Yankees soon
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Atkins looks like that guy that cuts in front of you at the bar for a drink and proceeds to tell a 5 minute story to the bartender.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 So you honestly think a typical backup catcher that can hit .250 vs Thole that has hit .198 during his Blue Jays career is a face palm moment? Yes, considering the Dickey effect.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 What do you consider rich per year income? Over $100K Well off Over $200K Very Well off Over $300K Very Very Well Off Over $500K Rich
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Atkins looks like that guy that cuts in front of you at the bar for a drink and proceeds to tell a 5 minute story to the bartender. Not really.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 Yes, considering the Dickey effect. http://i.makeagif.com/media/1-31-2014/fMnQem.gif
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 It wasn't 100% luck. The strikeout was pretty good. The guy only swung because he saw a mosquito and didn't want to get zika. Very lucky for Dickey.
