Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Only white dudes are gritty, and hustle out of the box. True?
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 90 mph :/ Maybe there should be just as much discussion about Stroman's innings limit as there is with Sanchez. If anyone's showing signs of wear and tear, it's Stro.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 He's not yippy like Romero. Romero couldn't find the zone to save his life. Lets not go too far lol Seriously, there's a huge difference. Plus, Ricky's underlying numbers were never great. He was just able to outperform them like crazy for longer than most, a la Jeremy Hellickson. That, and he completely forgot what a strike is. Stro has shown in the past he can be a top tier starter in a sustainable manner, it's just a huge approach issue.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Author Posted June 19, 2016 Anton Yelchin died Pinnned between his car and his mailbox. Awful.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 That had to hurt, his nads are in his throat.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Still early.... But how long until the discussion starts regarding having Stro follow Hutch's path back to Buffalo.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Tabby loving this discussion on groins and cups.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Damn, he really looks in bad shape. Looks nauseous. Shame too, because his strike zone was actually pretty reasonable.

If anyone's showing signs of wear and tear, it's Stro. Maybe or its as simple as hitters have gotten better at recognizing his pitches. Stro needs some new tricks.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Even the ump doesn't want to watch Stroman pitch.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Still early.... But how long until the discussion starts regarding having Stro follow Hutch's path back to Buffalo. Careful, his FIP and xFIP are still that of a solid 4/5 starter so many posters here will oppose.. Who cares about his potential, if he's an "average" contributor, I guess we shouldn't even entertain that notion.

West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Im going to the Jays game in Chicago on Friday, with these 2 off days before then I fear that I will see Dickey pitch in the southside
Praxis Verified Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Bob Davidson? Get ready for lots of this:
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 How long does it take an ump to get ready ffs?
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 How long does it take an ump to get ready ffs? Lol my thoughts exactly
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 How long does it take an ump to get ready ffs? Pre game dump.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 It's more like Hutch from last season. Only less strikeouts so potentially worse.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Ump is back, play ball.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Author Posted June 19, 2016 Martin with a lot of time to persuade Stroman to throw something other than a 2-strike sinker.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Martin with a lot of time to persuade Stroman to throw something other than a 2-strike sinker. Won't work, but not Martin's fault.
