Watched that play Barney made last nite catching the fly and throwing home a few times this am. That really was an amazing play. If Jeter did that they would have named an airport after him or something.

Barney made a great play. I also give Smoak credit for not colliding with him, and dropping to the ground to let Barney throw over him.

 

So when Tulowitzki comes back, I assume Goins will be sent down to AAA (otherwise Goins won't get any chances to hit, or at least swing a bat), Barney will play once or twice a week at SS, once or twice a week at 2B, and occasionally at 3B. Tulowitzki and Travis will be the regulars at SS and 2B.

 

It will be interesting to see if Tulowitzki's return will be good, neutral or bad for the Blue Jays
