Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Despite the homers, Nola looks great. I don't know he's throwing a lot of stuff high and around the middle of the plate.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 I don't know he's throwing a lot of stuff high and around the middle of the plate. Martin and Bautista have made him look better, by taking some of those pitches, but he's still looked pretty good.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 I don't know he's throwing a lot of stuff high and around the middle of the plate. His xFIP is negative lol.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Edwin bringing his offensive hot streak to his D . Happ hit 95 mph there!
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 His xFIP is negative lol. And his FIP is 11.14. Which one accounts for him throwing tons of pitches in the middle of the plate better?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Happ walked a guy who has pillaresque plate discipline
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Can't get Paredes out. Lol Think he was a nuisance for us when he was with the O's, too.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Nice to see back to back monster DONGs
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Happ walked a guy who has pillaresque plate discipline Was total BS - Happ had the K. Same pitch ump called Jose on in the 1st. They give it to Parades but ring up the guy with the most BBs in the AL. Idiots just love to do that to JB.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 And his FIP is 11.14. Which one accounts for him throwing tons of pitches in the middle of the plate better? His HR/FB is 100%, normally all the flyballs that are put in play are not homeruns. I think he's been fine , you certainly can't blame him for getting burned by EE and Saunders. Don't really see all of these pitches at the heart of the plate tbh, his stuff has enough movement that the ball is hard to pick up.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Donaldson is pure sex on a Baseball Field.

He's not like Hutchison where the fastballs down the middle are straight and very hittable.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Donaldson is pure sex on a Baseball Field. I agree with this
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 See, now back to back walks are a bad sign.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Put some respek on EE's name plehboi
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 True. He's not like Hutchison where the fastballs down the middle are straight and very hittable. He's good. I'm not disputing that. But he's not pitching well right now. That's all I'm disputing.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 He can throw strikes but he's scared lol

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 He's good. I'm not disputing that. But he's not pitching well right now. That's all I'm disputing. Now for sure.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 f*** I thought that was going over his head
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 That ball was ripped, nice play by Herrera and great awareness from JD.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 That was a solid hit, oh well. Drive em in Martin
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 wow Martin has taken 5 fastballs down the middle so far
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 f*** I thought that was going over his head Me too. Martin needs to bring in the runner from 3rd now.
