I don't know he's throwing a lot of stuff high and around the middle of the plate.

 

Martin and Bautista have made him look better, by taking some of those pitches, but he's still looked pretty good.

Happ walked a guy who has pillaresque plate discipline

 

Was total BS - Happ had the K. Same pitch ump called Jose on in the 1st. They give it to Parades but ring up the guy with the most BBs in the AL. Idiots just love to do that to JB.

And his FIP is 11.14. Which one accounts for him throwing tons of pitches in the middle of the plate better?

 

His HR/FB is 100%, normally all the flyballs that are put in play are not homeruns. I think he's been fine , you certainly can't blame him for getting burned by EE and Saunders. Don't really see all of these pitches at the heart of the plate tbh, his stuff has enough movement that the ball is hard to pick up.

True. He's not like Hutchison where the fastballs down the middle are straight and very hittable.

He's good. I'm not disputing that. But he's not pitching well right now. That's all I'm disputing.

He's good. I'm not disputing that. But he's not pitching well right now. That's all I'm disputing.
