intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 For sure, I agree. At this point, if he won't properly commit to the suggestions that Walker, Tabler's sources, etc have given him, I don't know how he'll ever look good again? I honestly don't know how else to re-ask my original question.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I'm liking the approach yesterday and today. They're cutting down on their swings a bit and hitting the ball where it's pitched mainly. Gap to gap approach is not only a successful approach, it's entertaining to watch. Same. I'm loving this approach a lot. The only one, seemingly, not on board yet is Edwin.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 just tuned in who was the HBP too? How did Orioles react?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Wow.. Romero is so far our best first round pick since 2005. Let's hope Stroman gets it together.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 just tuned in who was the HBP too? How did Orioles react? Two-strike ass shot on Kim with a runner on. Didn't seem like anyone took anything from it.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 To think Orioles fans were throwing Kim under the bus.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Same. I'm loving this approach a lot. The only one, seemingly, not on board yet is Edwin. I was just going to say that also. EE really needs to get on board for the good of the team and his bank account.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Someone needs to ask Martin who is harder to catch, Stro or Dick
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 can we get stro out before he surrenders the 2 run bomb
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Stroman got away with one there
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Author Posted June 10, 2016 Stroman is probably really proud of himself that inning
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Looks like the Stro Show has saved himself for another week.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Stroman is probably really proud of himself that inning Of course he his, his awful philosophy is working for him. Not that's there's anything wrong with that if we win, but, overall, the only way he gives it up is if he gets sent down or continually smashed for doing it.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I hope Biagini starts the 6th. I doubt it, 'cuz Stro hasn't reached 100 pitches yet', but he's not pitching well tonight.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Stroman does way better when he hits his spots. Huge difference from the first 2 innings
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Stroman does way better when he hits his spots. Huge difference from the first 2 innings It's sad that we have to discuss him now as if he were Buerhle. He's really trying to become his idol I guess.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Of course he his, his awful philosophy is working for him. Not that's there's anything wrong with that if we win, but, overall, the only way he gives it up is if he gets sent down or continually smashed for doing it. Hows it working. Hes getting smacked around?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I hope Biagini starts the 6th. I doubt it, 'cuz Stro hasn't reached 100 pitches yet', but he's not pitching well tonight. It's also a four game series. Can't be wasting the BP this early.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Hows it working. Hes getting smacked around? I should have added, "..the past couple innings."
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Stro has become just another mediocre pitcher. He had so much potential. It's sad to watch.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Pompey 3-5 today with a SB OBP now .390
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Machado could probably pitch 90+
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Stro has become just another mediocre pitcher. He had so much potential. It's sad to watch. lol let's not write him off just yet
