RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Even Edwin won't be looking at much at the rate he is going
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 I think Hendricks is getting boned. 19ks and 1 BB in 16 IP. He's getting BABIP'd at a .491 clip. Looks like it's pure BABIP bad luck. I checked out his contact% and his soft% is way up with his med% and hard% down.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Whew, I get to see Sanchy on Sunday, got worried they would skip him and I would get Dickey.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 We always fall just short of things. That Morrow game still pisses me off. That was such a fun game to watch for all of us fans, so dominating. Thanks Longoria.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Whew, I get to see Sanchy on Sunday, got worried they would skip him and I would get Dickey. there is always time for that to be adjusted. They need to limit his innings. Who knows, they might call up Hutch.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 What the hell is up with Gibby on his birthday, must be drunk. Up by 5? Let's play matchups, up by 1 run? Naw lets roll with it.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 there is always time for that to be adjusted. They need to limit his innings. Who knows, they might call up Hutch. Anyone but Dickey, seen him too many times at the dome this year.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 I'm pretty sure Dustin McGowan had 2 outs in the 9th inning before losing a no hitter. That was against the Rockies
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Poor Stroman has to face the Orioles. Whatever mechanical/approach changes he may be trying have to get tested against that lineup . The bright side, is if he pulls a Sanchez (hell even 60% of that), then it can shake off a lot of concerns quickly.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 He just needs to stop pitching to contact otherwise hes going to get clobbered. Apparently Grilli and Walker were working with him this morning, as well, to see if he was doing something in his delivery to tip his pitches.

Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Good job taking one game from this series after a blowout and a heartbreaker.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Needed this one after last night
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 This is the game I thought we wouldn't win. So it was nice to get to Zimmerman after not getting to Boyd.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Well they definitely seem to know what's coming. Papa Grilli. Hopefully he's able to fix that and begin to be the pitcher he was in 2014 again.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Donaldson with a very MVP-esque performance today. That play in the 3rd was ridiculous.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 I wonder how well I could do just betting on the Jays for those days which the BJMB declares "they can't win this one".
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 7 runs off Zimmermann, didn't see that coming considering they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn the first 2 games. It's nice when they score runs and stuff.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Zaun is spot on here. What did he say?

It's nice when they score runs and stuff. Nor did I. That's why baseball is the best sport on the planet. Ya gotta play it between the lines and RA of all arms has kept us in the game with Price and Zimm last 2 starts. Who saw that comin'? Reminds me of last year when Pillar hit 2 off of Mad Max to win that game. Good job birds to salvage one.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Blue Jays Win!!!!!!!!! I'll have to watch a replay of this game...at least the first 5 innings
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 What did he say? Went on a rant about guys swinging for homers with every swing while watching other power hitters like Cabrera and Ortiz go with the pitch and beat the shifts, but found today refreshing with JD, Bautista, and Pillar driving the ball where it's pitched.
