If you are considering Osuna for the starter position, why not stretch him out into a 2 inning reliever 8th and 9th?

That's not the same thing. Yankees were trailing. We had a 4 run lead with a fresh pitcher on the pound and good matchup options. I just want Osuna to be kept fresh. Nothing wrong with that.
