I like hearing the word "upside" to describe a college pitcher, seems like a solid pick. Did like the idea of Burdi, but a starter obviously has more value if he pans out.

He definitely sounds projectable. 6'7 and already touching 97 with solid secondaries. He sounds good on paper.

I'm not upset, but not thrilled about this pick. He's tall, has a good fastball so we'll see. As he adds mass and starts figuring his body out he could jump.
