Rovert Verified Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Josh (ShutYourPieStuff) Donaldson , lol didn't even look like much , wasn't yelling & freaking out.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I bet Colabello was looking forward to this series. who?
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Just got home, why was JD thrown out? Ump got thinner skin than Trump.
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Justin Upton has been absolute s*** What game are you watching?
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 which is the exact same thing 90% of players do every single game when they get a borderline call against them. I don't blame JD at all, umps need to stop being such sourpusses How about the concept that having a reputation of always being nice to the umps will bring more calls in your favor? Why treat the umps like they are your enemies? They have a job to do and they are humans. Respect goes both ways.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Another shitballing lefty working on a quality start.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 What game are you watching? Blue Jays game. They showed the strikeout leaders.
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I bet Colabello was looking forward to this series. Heard he's hit the bottle pretty hard since his suspension.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Edwin 2 strike approach has seemingly disappeared.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Heard he's hit the bottle pretty hard since his suspension. That from the same source who told you Martin was going to be suspended for PEDs?
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Just got home, why was JD thrown out? JD was chirping back at the Twins bench after the Twins bench was chirping him for not running out the grounder, the ump thought it was directed at him and immediately overreacted and ran him.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 which is the exact same thing 90% of players do every single game when they get a borderline call against them. I don't blame JD at all, umps need to stop being such sourpusses Donaldson for sure didn't chirp at the umpire based on his reaction when he went back to argue his ejection. So he said something not related to baseball. And that was directed to someone behind the umpire, whether it was a fan or the Twins bench. What if he said something dismissive, like "shut up?" you want the umpire to not eject a guy who says that?
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 That from the same source who told you Martin was going to be suspended for PEDs? Ya I never said it was Martin. I said a player in the Jays organization. And I was right by the way.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 unacceptable that we are being handled by this shitballer

Umpires should not be ejecting any player for saying anything, unless it gets to an absurd level after a warning or 2.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Getting owned by another no name lefty...nothing has really changed lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Could easily be 6 scoreless if they pitched around Bautista earlier.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Umpires should not be ejecting any player for saying anything, unless it gets to an absurd level after a warning or 2. that's not what the rules says so they need to play by the rules and stfu when it comes to balls/strikes.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Disappointing performance against a scrub pitcher. As much as we like to think the offence is coming around it isn't.

What if he said something dismissive, like "shut up?" you want the umpire to not eject a guy who says that?[ Entirely speculation, nobody has any context here. What we do know for sure though is that the ump better have had a pretty god damn good reason to toss out a player in the first AB of the game. And speaking of respect how come the reigning AL MVP didn't get the benefit of the doubt there? JaysAlmighty was talking about respect being a two-way street but I didn't see any respect shown to JD there.

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Damn, congrats to Boxcar for getting engaged to that Twins fan.
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 that's not what the rules says so they need to play by the rules and stfu when it comes to balls/strikes. This. Jays are getting a reputation as a bunch of punks.

Who cares if he is the reigning AL MVP? If you are disrespectful to an umpire (whether it was intended at him or not is irrelevant) you deserve to get ejected.
