Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 I don't understand why this is worth mentioning? Who cares what someones wife tweets. Have you guys ever seen some of the stuff that the wives of players tweet? Mind numbing. The only player wife I've seen tweet is Amanda McCarthy and she is hilarious.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Dwayne Wade's wife/GF tweeted at Andrew Walker from the FAn590 last series lol.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Even if the pen has been bad I feel like starters are being left in too long. Rather let the pen start an inning fresh than this let the pitcher throw 100 pitches then bring a reliever on with 1 out and 2 guys on base that seems to keep happening. I dunno. Happ was well under 100 pitches and was having no problems. Unless you have an underutilized pen containing a trio of Bettances/Miller/Chapman or equivalent, you let him keep going. Almost every manager would have sent Happ out to start the 8th, and wait for the correct time/matchup to go the righty.

Lmao, our pen saaaaaaaaacccckkkks man. With a 1 run lead I'm even leaving Dickey in there till Osuna.
baloojayz Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 As much as I want to defend them, our guys really are becoming a bunch of punks. If they just STFU and went about their business we would probably have a winning record right now. WTF is going on this season? Bitching at the umps, pulling guys legs at second, hard slides to take guys out, fights, suspensions?

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Yes thats situational. Players dont perform better or worse in different clutch situations. Clutch doesnt exist. Its just up to the manager to use the right guys at the right time. Yeah no such thing as emotions or pressure. Everyone works the same In and out of under pressure Every human being has exactly the same aptitude for performance under stressful situations
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Yeah no such thing as emotions or pressure. Everyone works the same In and out of under pressure Every human being has exactly the same aptitude for performance under stressful situations Seriously.. Maybe Cyborg really is a cyborg?
baloojayz Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 One game because sore losers. Screw that, I want them to win. They are good enough to not care about what other teams or umps are doing and still win.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Yeah no such thing as emotions or pressure. Everyone works the same In and out of under pressure Every human being has exactly the same aptitude for performance under stressful situations I do agree with the premise. The only problem is that data shows the exact opposite.
