John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 We need Travis back............ I'm sure they'll start him down in the order, but if he gets hot, do you move him leadoff and bump Saunders down to 6? Or.. bump Saunders to 2 and everyone else down a slot?
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Tulo waving at a pitch a foot off the plate.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Who's getting Buck's book? Family and friends...
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Tulo waving at a pitch a foot off the plate. He thinks he's Vladdy Guerrero now.
crederer Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 How's carerras fielding? Why don't they have bautista dh more?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Lol, of course Ole noodle arm gets him this 1 time. Probably won't throw another runner out all season

Travis (shoulder) will not necessarily be handed the starting job at second base once he completes his rehab assignment, MLB.com reports. Analysis: Second base belongs to Ryan Goins, and while that could eventually change, Travis will need to earn his spot on the field. The 25-year-old Travis hasn't played since last July because of left shoulder surgery, and once he returns to a full workload, Travis will need to post some strong numbers before he can be seriously considered. Travis is set to start hitting at extended spring camp on Friday, but an exact timeline for his return to second base remains uncertain. Once cleared, Travis will go on a rehab assignment, but even when that's completed, the Blue Jays could option him to the minors if they feel he needs more time to round into form.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 damn. Stro is gonna have to go at least 3-4 more clean innings for us to have a chance to win. Offence can't get anything as per usual.

Leaving Goins as the starting 2B over Travis would be mind numbingly stupid. It's not defensible in any way
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Who's getting Buck's book?😂 I'm gonna wait for it to hit $2 at Walmart and use it as a paperweight

Someone needs to be fired if they start Goins over Travis.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Stroman looks great today. That curve ball and cutter is tremendous
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Stroman looks great today. He does indeed, the question is who's turn in the bullpen is it to blow the game?
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Be nice to have a big inning for a change, this offense is tough to watch right now.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Goins is awful. He is not even a AAA hitter.
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Someone needs to be fired if they start Goins over Travis. Another way to look at it is, if Travis can't prove that he deserves the starting spot over Goins, there is something seriously wrong with Travis. Seriously, this 'gotta prove it' crap is nonsense, but it really shouldn't take Travis long to do it, if he's healthy.
