JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 umps have no business following a player hoping they say anything else. Ump could have chosen to turn his back and let it slide but he was staring at Weiters looking for confrontation. it's ******** and MLB needs to clean up it's collective umpiring s***. Really? So the ump must look away when confronted? Get real.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Where is all the power it's like they are afraid to swing
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Edwin and Tulo need to step it up.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Venditte............This could become in a disaster
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Really? So the ump must look away when confronted? Get real. the confrontation was initiated by the ump. He was looking for it and there was no need. I don't expect an ump to back down if a player comes at him but if the guy is walking away let him walk. Weiters was on his way to the dugout and the ump was looking for a reason to throw him out. He did exactly the same to Jose earlier and luckily Jose just stared at him. I'll be the ump would have tossed him had he said ANYTHING. this guy is a colossal douche who always thinks he's the star of the game.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Really? So the ump must look away when confronted? Get real. If the player is physically in his face, then of course not, but if the player is walking back to the dug out, the umpire should ignore unless the player says something out of the ordinary. The game is not about the umpires.

I agree with this statement. They also need to stop the nonsense of having the umps wait around while the team in the dugout is checking video before asking for a challenge on the play - That was never the original intention and it does slow up the game.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Edwin and Tulo need to step it up. Edwin needs to step it up???
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 why are we using this guy in a 1 run game?
IBTrini Verified Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Another call goes in favor of the jays, f***ing horrible umpiring by that home plate umpire. No arguing about the bad umpiring but it isn't as though it is favouring the Jays.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 These umps are getting worse every year.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Russell causing s*** back there lol
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Venditte is throwing the slider to that part of the plate every single time. He should switch it up.
