burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Seems like a miracle the Os only have 1 run tonight. Jays offence really needs to score. We can't expect the pen to shut the Os down for 3 more innings.

Yeah, and we've all said that. The difference is, he's the only one who won't acknowledge that it's been bad on both sides.

Baseball fan Verified Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 That pitch to trumbo was a ball, Martin pulled it up into the strike zone about six inches, umpiring has been bad on both sides, but it seems the O'S get the worst of it at the worst time.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 So what did the player say to the ump? Do we know those facts? You can tell the way Weiters was pointing his was clearly arguing that his bat didn't break the plane and wondered why no appeal was granted. Also, the umpire's "you're gone" wasn't emphatic enough to indicate that Weiters told him to go f*** his mother.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Jacoby needs to straighten some of this s*** out.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Hey how about that Goins kid? Travis can't come back soon enough. Tell him to bring Pompey with him. At least Goins is having better AB's than Pillar.

Gameday, PitchFX has that pitch well inside the strike zone. It wasn't egregious at all.

Statman Verified Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Pro tip: don't misspell "retarded" when using it as an insult. It's on purpose. Like saying dumn.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Offence really struggling. Can't expect to win scoring 2 runs in a game.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Jacoby needs to straighten some of this s*** out. Very frustrating. We're better than this.
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Unbelievable how 14 of 17 games 4 or less runs scored. So many games seem to start the way this one did: score early, come close to breaking it wide open, ultimately fail to do so, then offense completely dried up rest of way. FFS!
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Posted April 22, 2016 Damn, Tulo is so f***ing good.
