Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 So Carrera>Bautista? Lol....I mean seriously 3 double plays for Bautista in 6 innings...terrible just terrible
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Happ should go into the dugout after this inning a start spewing fire at his lack of run support. Then the rest of the starters should join in a spew even more fire. go kick the bats over - wake them up. That always works!
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 All you can really do now is laugh at how atrocious this is. We've let the leadoff man die on the bases how many times now in this game?
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Jesus Bautista. No, no. That's his cousin.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I wonder if the Jays are suffering from the knuckleball effect today. Add in the early morning start and maybe it can explain the offesnive struggles today.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Ok this is getting ridiculous.
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 He's having a rough go. Didn't he K 3 times yesterday? That's better than this game lol.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I wonder if the Jays are suffering from the knuckleball effect today. Add in the early morning start and maybe it can explain the offesnive struggles today. Fine. Now go ahead and explain the previous 13 games.

Swervin81 Verified Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 The Jays are falling prey to some horrendous BABIP luck this game.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I wonder if the Jays are suffering from the knuckleball effect today. A guy touching mid-90s in the morning after seeing a knuckleballer for 6 innings yesterday is a tough run scoring environment.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Chances that Pat and Buck talk about this new spin thing EVERY GAME now? bump - what were they saying? are they talking about the spin on pitches? They aren't using advanced info like that are they?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 The Jays are falling prey to some horrendous BABIP luck this game. So are the Red Sox though.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 The Jays are falling prey to some horrendous BABIP luck this game. No. They're just making weak ass contact and have ZERO plan at the plate.
WONDERBAT Verified Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Happ has been so good, f***ing trash offense again today.
JaysFanSmith Verified Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Happ has been so good, f***ing trash offense again today. Let EE use you Wonderbat.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 bump - what were they saying? are they talking about the spin on pitches? They aren't using advanced info like that are they? Yes. But the attempt to explain it is atrocious.

A guy touching mid-90s in the morning after seeing a knuckleballer for 6 innings yesterday is a tough run scoring environment. I think the early morning start would be more of an effect tbh. These guys usually wake up around 10 AM so for them it would be like us waking up at 4 or 5 to go to work if you got up around 6 or 7.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Excellent changeup to finish Pedroia.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Happ is a stud. I'd cheer for the offense to get him some runs here, but I already know that isn't going to happen.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Price 7/217 Sanchez and Happ one step forward
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Even the Rays score 2 runs sometimes
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 they've hit into some double plays, but that's at least a step up from striking out so much. putting the ball in play now and soon we should see the offense start to take off.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Come on offense!!!!!!!!!
