I disagree. I rarely see Blue Jays pitchers and many others wiping a substance before every pitch. Do the have it maybe...but if u do it blatantly every pitch it needs to be called out.

Funny enough - Buchholz is the cover man for this approach, which everyone uses. From what I read, it's to give you better grip. I'd rather pitchers have a good grip when throwing 90+ MPH. It's funny watching the pitchers put on sunscreen for the night games...
