burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Isn't that illegal...same thing that I think Pineda got caught doing Every pitcher does this. Watch a random game and guys will always be rubbing their forearms.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Come on Tulo. Keep the line moving.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 All the teams do that. Nothing to se here. I disagree. I rarely see Blue Jays pitchers and many others wiping a substance before every pitch. Do the have it maybe...but if u do it blatantly every pitch it needs to be called out.
Statman Verified Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Isn't that illegal...same thing that I think Pineda got caught doing Pineda was using pine tar which is definitely an illegal substance. I don't think sunscreen is.
everzz Verified Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Clay is losing his command. They seriously need to start capitalizing on this
Governator Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Pineda was using pine tar which is definitely an illegal substance. I don't think sunscreen is. a) He's making it obvious as hell. You don't know it's only sunscreen c) with rosin it's basically the same s*** as pine tar d) Buckholz is a greaseball
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Because getting hit by a ball square in the face is not a good time. Good point!!!

It's actually a mixture of hair gel (from touching his hair), sunscreen and rosin.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Ugh, that high changeup was a serious mistake, you can't be taking those Tulo.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 The more time that goes where this offense looks like crap, the more I feel like it isn't going to turn.

Governator Community Moderator Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Just caught him doing it again on the mound. f***ing greaseball http://i.imgur.com/sDHh7XM.jpg

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Isn't that illegal...same thing that I think Pineda got caught doing Bullfrog sunscreen and rosin. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1633383-report-claims-90-percent-of-pitchers-use-sunscreen-to-grip-ball-better Funny enough - Buchholz is the cover man for this approach, which everyone uses. From what I read, it's to give you better grip. I'd rather pitchers have a good grip when throwing 90+ MPH. It's funny watching the pitchers put on sunscreen for the night games... Pineda had pine tar...he's dumn because you can visually see it.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Jays offense really is in a funk. Haven't hit anything hard today.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I disagree. I rarely see Blue Jays pitchers and many others wiping a substance before every pitch. Do the have it maybe...but if u do it blatantly every pitch it needs to be called out. Jays coaches are closer to the action than us. Why they don't do something about it? - Because we're not the O's-Shawalter
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Edwin wants his money... Nice play

Perhaps they just aren't as blatant with the application as Buchholz is. So greasy.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 Chances that Pat and Buck talk about this new spin thing EVERY GAME now?
