Maahfaace Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Another solid start, sanchy pitching like a #3 right now. Very impressed with him so far this year
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Good s***, Sanchez. That was some good s*** right there.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I hate the walks, it makes the stat line so ugly
darkness_falls Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Tulo needs to take a chill pill. He just seems like an uber-serious, uptight dude to me. This should be his walk-up song:
TilsonBritoFan Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Another solid start, sanchy pitching like a #3 right now. Very impressed with him so far this year Uhhh...he's pitching like a Cy candidate right now. ERA around 1...
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Aaron Sanchez 20IP 2016: 20IP, (9 K, 3.15 BB, 0.90 HR)/9 = 3.49 FIP, 1.35 ERA
Stoneyen Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 A nice start for Sanchez, still lots of walks though. 7Ks is great, but more whiffs would've been nice to see. It will be interesting to see the full report after the game but he really threw almost entirely fastballs. When the curve was mixed in it looked really good and no one ever hit it well. Change up disappearance is still mystery.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Uhhh...he's pitching like a Cy candidate right now. ERA around 1... we dont use ERA in these parts 9K/9, 2.5 BB/9, >60% grounders That's a No. 2 SP at least

This should be his walk-up song: He's always been like that. Tulo is pretty much the embodiment of captain serious. He's even mroe captain serious than Toews.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Aaron Sanchez 20IP 2016: 20IP, (9 K, 3.15 BB, 0.90 HR)/9 = 3.49 FIP, 1.35 ERA Not bad, I'll take it. His contact management brings those numbers to a #2 since his FIP will, likely, always be far higher than his ERA. If this kid can ever get average control of his stuff, not command, he could become elite.

93 Jays Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Another solid start, sanchy pitching like a #3 right now. Very impressed with him so far this year lol, yeah, a no 3 with an ERA under 1.5 and a WHIP under 1, throwing 7 innings plus against AL east opponents? His command hasn;t been spectacular but he's a no 2 now at worst, if not a no 1. He need a long way to go to prove he doesn't fall into his old ways with his walk but his numbers are the best on our staff right now

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 There you go Martin, THAT'S your game, shooting the ball oppo.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 If Gibby, in the upcoming series, decides to drop both Smoak and Colabello in favor of EE playing 1st and someone else DHing I would be very surprised and pleased
Hal Johnson Verified Member Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 That's the way Martin needs to approach.
