Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Another ND start for Sanchez. 8 three ball count today. 3 walks
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Offense....offense....offense!!!!!!!!!!
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 QS by Sanchize against a good hitting team, despite not having his best stuff Flashing ace upside
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Why would you go inside twice like that? Poor pitch call there. Cause he isn't you Captain Hindsight...
nmrch Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 3 walks and lots of GB's against a good lefty heavy lineup, you can live with those kinds of starts
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Battle of the BP now has me a bit skeptical
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 That 2 seamer trying to catch the inside corner is teh riskiest pitch a RHP can throw to a LHB, not a great selection on a night when Sanchez doesn't have perfect command. Should have been a CB or a CU That pitch was actually executed pretty well but the problem was going to it twice in a row. McCann didn't expect it the first time and froze even though it missed high.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Back to back quality starts for Sanchez to start the year. We have to be extremely pleased with this.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I am wondering if it is breaking too much when he throws 96. Ump wasn't giving him any calls in the beginning of the game. Interesting to know if Martin asked him to back off a Maybe? If he did, it's a bad call, because many of these hitters can't catch up to the speed. Martin's called a pretty bad game tonight compared to last week. He's barely called any changeups and the pitch looked excellent every time he tossed it.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 it's like Tulo is afraid to swing
ColdPint Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 How come the Yankees find no name big arms for the BP that work out so well and we find the Arnold Leon's?
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Jays kryptonite...the close game.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 at least you made contact very weak contact, at that
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Back to back quality starts for Sanchez to start the year. We have to be extremely pleased with this. How many strikeouts?
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Man has Tulo stunk up the join so far with the bat.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Yep that's all Martin, but Sanchez looks way off compared to his last start. His velocity is down and control is much worse. I don't think he looks that bad. Curveball has looked really good meanwhile we never really saw the changeup. I don't think we should expect him to look as good as he did in his first start.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Yep that's all Martin, but Sanchez looks way off compared to his last start. His velocity is down and control is much worse. He started throwing 92-93 to command his fastball better. Was not able to throw the 95+ one for strikes after the first inning.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Jays kryptonite...the close game. Or you posting?
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Damn, Tulo blows at the plate
Tuco Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Tulo cant square up a ball to save his life. We aquired a broken player.
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Lol oh no don't remind me of that scrub
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Lol oh no don't remind me of that scrub Tulo?
Patrick Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 In case any of you are interested, PBS has a great 2 pt. series about Jackie Robinson. Episode 2 is on right now.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Cola, Tulo and martin are all auto outs right now.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 How many strikeouts? 5, which is decent, especially given he was robbed of 2 at least from the Ump.
