We've known that for a while actually. It came out right after the game that Morales didn't feel right in the 'pen. Chavez was likely just warming up to likely go in after Morales but was thrust into the wrong situation instead.

The point was the Jays cant waive him while he sits on the DL, and I believe May 18th is when he is fully vested for the season
