KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Blue Jays place Franklin Morales on 15-day disabled list with arm weakness/fatigue. More Arnaldo Leon Why didn't they do that yesterday? Could have called up an extra body for yesterday's game.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Why didn't they do that yesterday? Could have called up an extra body for yesterday's game. He had trouble getting loose and they probably took 24 hours to see if he would bounce back.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 So I guess we know why Gibby went with Chavez the other day
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 So I guess we know why Gibby went with Chavez the other day We've known that for a while actually. It came out right after the game that Morales didn't feel right in the 'pen. Chavez was likely just warming up to likely go in after Morales but was thrust into the wrong situation instead.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Oh. I had no idea that this was known It was reported on Twitter and then Gibby confirmed as much in his post game conference.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Didn't we just sign him for Gods sakes.
tazsub3 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Didn't we just sign him for Gods sakes. Yes but we signed him on a non guaranteed contract, Thus, something like that was expected and thus accounted for.
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Maybe hes gonna sit on the DL till may 18th to ensure he gets his full 2 million......
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Maybe hes gonna sit on the DL till may 18th to ensure he gets his full 2 million...... I'm hoping we can end the experiment long before then. I didn't like the signing from the start.
