JFD Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 it's been 11 months since he gave up a r..... oh, wait, maybe not Honest;y, the second buck and pay said that, I told my wife, we're now screwed. Bucked
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Forthyse owner, but that suxx.. f*** Cecil Forsythe owner...and he's on my bench. I had just wrote this to someone after the long fly ball will Cecil get a little rope from the fans this year if he starts poorly? The rage went on to Buck instead
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 If Gibbons left Sanchez in and he started getting batted around 4th time through the order (a fairly likely possibility), you'd all still be bitching, so take a seat.
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Why are people blaming Gibbons? The offense stranding all those baserunners is why they are losing. Going to Cecil is the right move.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 89 Pitches...Gibby in midseason form. Yup, he allowed Stroman to stay in after 92 pitches with a fresher pen.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Cecil looked terrible against every batter that inning. You could sense he was going to give up some runs. I hope you guys are not serious about the jinx stuff. I hate Gibbons, but he managed it perfectly. Cecil is the guy you want in these spots. s*** happens. No body is blaming Gibbons, we're pointing pitchforks at Martinez

Id rather have the pitcher who currently had gotten 12 straight outs and only threw 89 Pitches in 7 innings
goldbug103 Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Yuk I'm not sure I like Morales coming in here with someone on base. another 1 run loss. i wonder why gibbons jays have the worst collective winning percentage in 1 run games. could it be the manager is a total retard ?
Soft Hands Verified Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 nice snag smoak now get the bats going

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 Are people seriously arguing Cecil as the wrong move.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 This is what it felt like seeing Cecil struggle in that 8th... http://i.imgur.com/lYDmo1w.gif

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 6, 2016 Posted April 6, 2016 So going with Cecil in a one run game is a bad move since when? If I had told you that Sanchez would give you 7 innings of one run ball you would've taken it all day long. The right move was made by the book. Just didn't work out. It wasn't a bad move but the way Sanchez was pitching, it probably wasn't the best move. Now if Sanchez had say 100 pitches than it would have been the best move.
