Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 people like this give americans bad names. They are almost all like that, it is well deserved. Go there and talk to people or look at how many people support Trump before you disagree.

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 pretty sure we have some americans on this board that would disagree and who are otherwise respectful ~50% of them will support an open racist that is also extremely xenophobic. They can't play the ignorance card, he's the only thing on the news.
puphood Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 I found Stromans demeanor on the field interesting as their appeared to be a change in attitude to a more reserved individual. He pitched a good game and the pen stepped up. One of the highlights was Napoli Striking out to Barney...........
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 It seems like Drew Hutchison is back. Yeah, show them what you can do Drew, again.
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 This story gives some information Bautista and his injured toe - http://www.torontosun.com/2016/07/01/demarlo-hale-expects-blue-jays-pitcher-bo-schultz-to-be-healthy. It sounds to me like he won't be back before August. It seems that Bo Schultz is ok after yesterday's soreness but he will get a few days off in Buffalo. I have been impressed by Bo Schultz, I think he can help the Blue Jays bullpen. . . . BAUTISTA NOT CLOSE Don't expect to see Jose Bautista any time soon. The Jays slugger remains in a walking boot after suffering a turf toe injury on his left foot on June 16 in Philadelphia. "He is feeling better but it's going to be a while," Gibbons said during his media availability on Friday morning. "(The Jays) miss him. You won't see him (for) a couple of (more) weeks." So Bautista is out until after the all-star break (July 11-14)? "I definitely would think that," Gibbons said, "unless I am getting bad info." Bautista is eligible to be activated from the 15-day disabled list this weekend, but it appears that won't be happening. The Jays had hoped that Bautista would be able to shed the boot on or around July 1. Bautista will require some rehab and strength conditioning once he is physically cleared. Prior to being hurt when he crashed into the right-field fence in Philly, Bautista was batting .230 with 12 home runs and 41 RBIs, and had a team-high 48 walks. Since Bautista was hurt, the Jays have gone 5-8. . . .

nextyear Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Goins on the DL because of arm soreness (from pitching yesterday). I wonder if this is just a way to bring another pitcher up without demoting Goins?
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Goins on the DL because of arm soreness (from pitching yesterday). I wonder if this is just a way to bring another pitcher up without demoting Goins? I wish they'd have called up Barnes instead; I'm really curious to see how his stuff translates in the majors.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Goins to the 15 day DL with forearm tightness
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 When Bautista comes back I'd be in favour of having him and Edwin split 1B/DH. Smoak is pretty useless at this point and I think the team is better off having an average defensive RF out there.

Goins wouldn't be on the DL. Schultz wouldn't have been demoted. Hutch would still be scheduled to make his next start on Buffalo... And Loup would still be in Buffalo. Smoak f***ed this whole thing up royally!!

Would like to see us target a RF instead of relying on Pompey though. Plus Saunders could die at anytime.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Who? Pompey? Or an acquisition from another team.
VE2OH Verified Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 He had a good inning, what is next for Ryan maybe catcher. Now if he could only bat. He does give his all, whatever they ask.!!!!!
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Seems like he'll need to hit the DL. At least the break is coming up. That'll give him some extra time in addition to whatever he misses before that.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 How many starts for him between now and the break? One?
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 How many starts for him between now and the break? One? Should just DL him and start Hutch in his place in that start.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Agreed. One start isn't a big deal.
