Cecil got whiffs with all his pitches, but Chavez was the best pitcher last night.

His pitches are nasty, they look straight and then they tightly break without moving too much, looks like they are floating in space.

I was really impressed with Chavez.... Struggled with the first guy then he bared down and started painting... A lot of whiffs.

I see this jays destroying Odorizzi tonight. He has pitched very well against us, but this team is damn good in offensive. In an wide game Biagini and Leon could pitch.

The biased umpire calls on balls and strikes continues to go against the Jays in 2016 (look at the opposing pitchers(s) data too). Luckily they are so talented they are able to overcome it now. The totally egregious strike calls against Bautista and Donaldson are troubling though.

Storen's velo is way down. Hopefully its nothing but for it to drop that much isn't a good sign.

Sanchez did not have good command last night. The results were better than his performance. That said, it's good to see that when he's not in a groove, he can still battle and give them team a great chance to win. Now, let's get back to a closer version of Sanchez, circa start 1.
