Governator Community Moderator Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Why the same song though... Not even a shot of the new dirt infield, hope it's ready.
ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Lame. So many clips to choose from and they choose clips of players being disappointed and fans looking depressed. No bat flip, no Pillar dives, no bush party.
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 used 3 separate images of Sanchez. (maybe the PR department didn't get the memo that he's starting the season in Buffalo?)

No bat flip, no Pillar dives, no bush party. perhaps - but it still gives me the tingles. Bring it home this year boys.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I'm glad they didn't include Jose's homer in the video. I've seen it WAAAYYYY too many times now. Hopefully the team can give us another few epic moments like that in the postseason this year!
KinofChaos Verified Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Damn it was there for the taking last year..made me depressed lol.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Thing song just reminds of disappointment of those years and Ricky Romero's fall from grace.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Thing song just reminds of disappointment of those years and Ricky Romero's fall from grace. Yup, 2012.
WONDERBAT Verified Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 How could they not come up with something better after all those amazing moments last year?
Jonzo Verified Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I like the song, but the choice of clips is horrendous.
flafson Verified Member Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Since I'm guessing you all are watching this clip cause you are dying for some baseball, I found this nice highlights clip from 2015 on Youtube.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Why the same song though... Budget constraints.

flafson Verified Member Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Awesome vid, however just broke my heart again lol. Man on third, no outs. Yea, worst ending ever, we had it and just let it slip away...
flafson Verified Member Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Now that's what they should play... From the same clip, this song is amazing.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Yea, worst ending ever, we had it and just let it slip away... 2 one strike high and away calls on Navvy and Revere against a guy who can't get those calls is what put it away for KC.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 2 one strike high and away calls on Navvy and Revere against a guy who can't get those calls is what put it away for KC. No it didn't. Excuses.
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I think you missed the memo ahh no, bro. I was about 97% sure all along that Sanchez would break camp with the big boys (barring a completely disastrous ST.)
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 2 one strike high and away calls on Navvy and Revere against a guy who can't get those calls is what put it away for KC. No it didn't. Excuses. lol. Excuses? Instead of 3-1 count against Davis its 2-2. Totally different ABs. Those pitches weren't called all game and were unhittable off of him, mixed in with the sink he has. Sometimes umps calls influence the outcome of a game. Its a reality. In this case it did and the pitch tracker was clear. These were egregious calls. I don't know how many idiots Ive heard tell me we lost cause we didn't use "small ball" and we didn't bunt to "manufacture" runs when we "aren't homering". Bautista put us back in the game with a bomb, and Pompey stole 2 f***ing bases to get to 3B (isnt that part of "manufacturing runs"?). We did still get JD up and he didn't get it done which ended the game, but thats ball. With 2 outs its harder to get that run in. KC was good but they got hot and lucky at the right time when we cooled down. JD smashing that snagged liner to 3B earlier with 2 on illustrated to me that things just weren't going our way. For them every bouncer found a hole. I think their BABIP was over .400 for the series.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Yeah I don't mean to sound salty, but the Royals were lucky as f***. Alcides f***ing Escobar won series MVP

Alcides f***ing Escobar won series MVP You know its going well for your team when Alcides or Pat Borders (92) are WS MVPs. Didn't everyone feel it when Alomar hit that one off of Eck. A "this is finally our year" feeling.
