Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 little oblique issue so yes.... He always seems to be hurt in spring.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Halloween idea: Undeadwin Encarnacion.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I haven't even seen him since October.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I haven't even seen him since October. He did an interview in English about his desire to remain a Blue Jay. I actually thought that was pretty significant considering he's reluctant to do interviews. Hes a notorious slow starter. So lack of at-bats does concern me.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 How can he expect to be ready for opening day? He's something like 2 weeks behind schedule
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 How can he expect to be ready for opening day? He's something like 2 weeks behind schedule Just my own medical opinion, but he'd probably be playing if it were a meaningful game. Really all he does is swing a bat for a living, and he's really good at it, so he probably didn't forget how in the last few months.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 game on tv? nope, not even streamed, just on the radio.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 5 days in a row after this are on TV though!
Moo3 Verified Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 game on tv? http://en.lmgtfy.com/?q=blue+jays+spring+training+broadcast+schedule

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Tillman is sooooo bad haha. God, their rotation is a shambles.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 So is this not supposed to be their number 1 guy lol..... I know its spring but it is not a great sign when all your starters are getting lit up
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Chavez > Tillman, Ubaldo, Gallardo, Worley
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 sounds like it was a look what I found catch.
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Sounds like Chavez is struggling

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Yup. I'm really hoping he can perform. I think he's a solid piece when he's on. Sounds like he's probably in third or fourth for the SP5 race at this point, though...

Considering Floyd has a major league contract, I'd be tempted so start Sanchez in AAA. Storen/Osuna/Cecil should be able to lock down the BP anyway.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 So what are the SP5 sentiments so far? I haven't seen all the games but the vibe I get around the internet is Floyd/Sanchez > Chavez > Hutch. How was Storen today? Last time I saw him he was iffy but brute forced himself through a scoreless inning.

I think we have to try Floyd as 5th given his contract. Lets see if he is healthy again. We know what we already have pretty much with Chavez and Sanchez (despite hundreds of pages of debate on here). Not sure on sending Sanchez to AAA though. In a "win" year I'd hate to lose that arm in the pen against RHP middle innings although Storen gives us more flexibility.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Jays left like a million guys on base today...
