Hey guys, I'm pretty new here and thought this would be a great way to kick off spring training...

 

Bold Predictions

-Can be anything related to the Jays. And this we can look back and see how dumb everyone looked.

 

I'll start off with this:

Pompey quickly earns an everyday spot in the lineup, then after a month or two he replaces Pillar as leadoff hitter (we know this is gonna happen) and goes on to put up 3+ WAR.

Estrada has a disasterous season.

 

Storen plays like s*** again and has a hissy fit because Soriano/Osuna is out playing him (sound familiar)

 

Blue Jays Wins the 2016 World Series against the Cubs in 7 games.

- Marco Estrada makes 32 starts and carries an ERA under 3.75

- Aaron Sanchez pitches 60+ games in relief with an ERA in the low 3s

- Gavin Floyd makes at least 10 effective starts

- Tulo hovers around league average offensively and spends significant time on the IR

- Edwin signs a reasonable 4 year contract before the end of the season

Devon Travis never regains the starting second base position.

 

Troy Tulowitzki plays a full healthy season.

 

Micheal Saunders never makes an appearance in LF this season.

 

Kevin Pillar makes all-star team.

 

Jose Bautista has best season of his career.

 

Jesse Chavez leads the pitching staff in wins and strikeouts.

 

Drew Storen leads the American League in Saves.

 

Anthony Alford makes his major league debut.

Jays win 100 games for the first time in franchise history.

 

Happ puts up a sub 3.50 ERA.

 

Bautista doesn't spend a day on the DL.

Tulo leads the team in WAR.

Bautista, Donaldson, Tulo all finish top 10 in AL MVP.

Happ becomes Cliff Lee 2.0

Hutchison spends majority of season in AAA.

Pompey dominates the spring, takes Saunders job and never looks back.

Alford becomes a top 10 prospect in baseball.

Sanchez gives up one hit all spring, with 5 walks, has 1 or 2 good starts in regular season, then tears his shoulder leaving us to forever argue if he is good.

Jays hit more HR's than the rest of the AL West together in June
