We traded for Valencia from KC deadline 2014 didn't we? We were struggling to hit LHP which seems bizarre now. Speaking of him I didn't believe the stuff Wilner tweeted about him being a bad presence in the clubhouse. But a friend of mine met with AA just after christmas. He said AA was very candid and never stops talking. AA told him that he was, compared to Cola, a very negative influence. Always talking contract terms etc etc and not in a positive way. Thought that was interesting.

With our bullpen shaping up right now, and with the possibility that we might shift some out-of-option starters that don't make the rotation into the pen (alla Vilueneva, Estrada) if he makes the team he'd be worth the 750$K. He has to battle I doubt the org will let him just have the spot
