CHRIS Verified Member Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Does anybody know either way what the blackout status is for the Jays for the 2016 MLB.TV? The "Blackout Checker" seems to require a US Zip Code rather than Canadian Postal. Thanks.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 I've never been blacked out of any Jays games on MLB.tv, even when it verifies that I live in Toronto.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 No me neither, it's just I seem to recall that the lack of blackouts for Toronto were somehow due to Beeston making the request to have it removed. Not sure how true that is, or even how prevalent blackouts are with other cities in general.
baseballsss Verified Member Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 I've never been blacked out of any Jays games on MLB.tv, even when it verifies that I live in Toronto. Two years I have had MLB TV I haven't been blacked out as well. I'm in Saskatchewan.

I know it's been okay in the past, and I don't see any reason why it would change for 2016, just was hoping for confirmation of it still being okay moving forward before re-upping for the season.

BlueJays Verified Member Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Did they broadcast playoff games on MLB.TV last year? Yeah. They didn't even charge an extra. I remember getting it for like $3 with 2 months remaining in the season + playoffs.
King Old-Timey Member Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Did they broadcast playoff games on MLB.TV last year? It was supposed to be 25 extra but they had an option to watch internationally which was free.
