But again it's nothing personal, if you look at every exchange I'm only ever responding to a particular insufferable post. The fewer there are, the less exchanges we seem to have, might be a formula in there somewhere.

I am looking to move up into the 40s, 50s, early 60's and move up from pick 75. In case anyone is interested, I will give picks, 95, 110, 115 and 116 for new pick and will include pick 75 for a new pick and a move up. So something like pick 49 plus 59 for 75 and then you will get 75, 95, 110, 115 and 116. Or just an earlier pick for 95, 110, 115,116.

 

Some perspective: Hurl landed Noelvi Marte SS with pick 115 last year. Marte ended up being an essential asset in a major trade Hurl also got Head at 116. I gave Hurl a lot for Head earlier this year, I am very satisfied.

Hurl gave up 4 draft spots in the 2nd round to get those last 4 draft picks. While there is an extra spot this year the late picks are mostly dead assets to most people and eventually available for pennies on the dollar

It really is just simple math though. We have 15 prospect spots, of which people love to use on guys that are 4 to 5 years away. If you draft well or really love your spects you aren't going to have room for the picks. While there still may be some solid ceiling guys left...the space just isn't there. 2021 that will probably start happening in round 2

So a few things about adulthood in a free country and internet chat boards. If you don't like a post, and it is not violating any rules, ignore it. That's what adults do.

 

What you are doing and have been doing is petty, it comes across petty, it is petty. All this today because I threw out a line to see if there would be any nibbles.

 

It really comes across that you think you are some super duper poster and that you and like thinkers determine what is cool or not. That I am a lower type of poster and privileged to be here and I am lucky to be among such baseball internet Gods.

 

Whether that is your intention or not, or perhaps you honestly don't realize it, I don't know. However that is 100% how it comes across in all your comments/attitude.

 

This board was worried about driving people off and lack of active participants. It is not the politics thread and COVID threads that discourage new posters or drive people away it is attitudes that you purvey. Posters can stay out of politics threads and Covid threads. Very hard to stay out of baseball threads or fantasy threads on a baseball forum and if you want to participate in either or.

 

Imagine some poor guy thinking of participating or joining the board reading this. Most do not have the thick skin I do. You and a few others already have some posters scared shitless about posting a baseball opinion or making a trade because they are worried they will get roasted by the know it all, baseball "God's" on here.

 

The sad thing is those who have made some of these snide comments etc, have been proven wrong, time and time again. Their actions and snide comments certainly don't encourage a relaxed friendly atmosphere and have some posters on eggshells or paralyzed with fear.

 

Maybe me being the Evil Empire is the motivation you need to compete in this Fantasy league or something. If that is the case, fine, we can do that and entertain the board.
