Hi!

Any interest in doing some sort of deal with centerpiece being Springer and Nick C for Kris Bryant?

Also as an open req, willing to move Bryant for package of young mlb players or near ready prospects.

Positions of need: CF, C, SP, and 3b coming back

I might have the pieces.

What's your team name? I don't have my cpu on me this weekend to check the spreadsheet.

The one with my name in it:)

I’m in no hurry on the deal. You can back to me during the week. I haven’t checked out your whole roster either

Since I traded for Bumgarner last offseason, it's like a curse has been placed on him.

At least they're freak injuries, and not arm/shoulder baseball issues likely to bother him long term.

They seem to be related to his chronic idiocy, so maybe not such freak accidents after all.

Indians manager Terry Francona announced Saturday that Matt Belisle had secured a spot in the team's Opening Day bullpen.

Advice: The veteran right-hander has had a terrible spring, posting a 6.10 ERA, 2.03 WHIP and 8/1 K/BB ratio over 10 1/3 innings of work, but apparently the Indians see something that they like. He'll function in middle relief for the Tribe and isn't relevant for fantasy purposes.

I just can't comprehend how people still put any weight or thought into ST stats. I imagine health and K/BB are by far the most important indicators for us peasants, with teams possibly having exit velocity data to help them make decisions along with these two things.

I'd say health, velocity, maybe walks for pitchers and K's for batters is about it.

I'd say velocity is tied to health but I agree.

Edit: unless you're also considering increased velocity which can and does happen.

The Marlins are opting to have Brinson on their opening day roster, ostensibly to save face with fans, but thereby neglecting to manipulate service time for an extra year of control. As an owner I'm pleased, but goddamn that org can't do anything right.

They should have done with the Phillies did with Kingery, making Super 2 redundant.

Meh... 1 team's trying to compete, the other will try not to lose a 100 games.

The Phillies are trying to compete? They'll be lucky to have a .500 record.

They said as much, I bet they challenge the Mets for 2nd in the East.

Phillies win 2nd wildcard. Book it.

I can see it happening because the 2nd wildcard contenders aren't all that strong but it would take quite the overperformance by the Phils to do so.

I'm really warming on the Phillies. Santana, Hoskins, Hernandez, and Herrera are all fine starters, with Hoskins possibly being elite. Throw in MLB ready young talent like Crawford, Altherr, Williams, Kingery, Quinn, (Franco?) and it's easy to see them competing if a few of these high-upside guys push. I liked the Arrieta signing, because it adds depth to the rotation in a year where it could very easily matter.

Their Santana and Arrieta signings were excellent along with the addition of Tommy Hunter in the bullpen. I really like what they're doing, they could be a fun team. Also you missed mentioning Aaron Nola who is an excellent starter.

They will play Miami and Atlanta 18-19 times each, so great opportunity to beat up those teams. Whereas teams in the NL West and Central will have a tougher schedule. I really like the Phillies chances.

They'll be an exciting team to watch. I really like their chances in 2018.
