Ah f*** me, I made a big mistake there. That's my fault. We had a sheet with our depth chart and somehow I totally missed Robertson. With that said we still could only pass through a couple of relievers and it's not a guarantee that Robertson would have made the cut, and no one contacted us about him.

Actually that's a lie he almost definitely would have been a keeper.

If you want to switch him with one of your keepers, I'll make the change.

Is it alright if we keep him and cut Trevor Rogers from our prospects roster? We only have 4 waiver picks too so it might make sense for us to do that if that's fine.

Yeah sure. Processed.

Also, if we have a guy on the 60 DL that we can put in that slot (like with Britton), can we keep an extra waiver pick if we have it, since we can use it?

The draft hasn't even begun yet, I have the top pick, and I'm already sniped!

Obviously an honest mistake though.

That must've been, boner induced, lol.

That's a good question. We should do what we did last year. If anyone knows for sure what that was, we should go with that. There's NA slots too.

I don't know what happened last year, but I think it makes the most sense to let anyone who has more than five picks use them if they can

I will attempt to put a list together. If you haven't heard from me by Sunday night send me reminder messages.

Idk if it matters, but a similar thing happened to Speedy with Gardner. He missed him on his phone and accidentally cut him. Idk if he wanted that brought up or not but there it is.

I agree with you. I think it makes most sense to let people decide how many picks they want to use.

If he posts instructions for fixing it before Monday morning, I’ll make the change.

I had Joe Ross and not Seung Hwan Oh on my keeper list. Other than that mine is all good.

Made the change.

So the rules keep referencing the waiver draft bringing everyone to 25-man rosters. But those were copied from the DDL where everyone has 20 keepers. Is anyone actually opposed to just letting teams use as many of their picks as their roster space will allow them to? This requires less monitoring, and is easier. And like 90% of these guys will be dropped by May anyway.

Spittin, if everyone is fine with this it should be added to the rules. Also, the other issue that came up this offseason, draft pick assignment, should be clarified in the rules. Waiver and MiLB picks were assigned the same way, using the following method:

-Weighted lottery (5,4,3,2,1) for bottom-5 finishers for the first five picks in the draft.

- the last 15 finishers draft in reverse order of regular season finish.

- lotteries are only for the first five picks of round 1. All picks in later rounds are reverse order of regular season finish.

Hey Jim, can we undo our Buxton trade? I just realized I can trade him for Stanton +. If only I'd waited for Dynasty Guru's rankings!

Bregman seems unreasonably high. Under no circumstances would I take him ahead of Stanton, Bellinger, Judge.

Too slow, I’m waiting on a response already for who I need to include with Stanton to get Buxton.

Ok, thank you I will update the rules.

Regarding the 25 man, I'm Ok with that if no one has a reasonable objection, people would be filling these spots regardless after the draft and it would make it a lot easier, good idea.

With a nice sweetener from you end, I'll consider it. Who did you pick with the #18 or whatever it was pick, to go along with Colby II?

This is the pending 3way. (Will not be official till post draft)

Curious to ppls thoughts:

Abom - Matz

J4L19 - Wacha, #22, Kevin Newman

Jim - #17, Folty, Jesus Sanchez

Abom gives up Folty + 22 and get's Matz

JFL19 gives up 17, Jesus Sanchez, Matz and get's Wacha, #22 and Newman

Jim gives up Wacha and get's #17, Folty and Sanchez

I like that for you(especially) and Jim... I don't trust Matz, I'd say Folty has a better chance at being better than Matz. Good deal, though.

I'm continuing to stockpile high upside guys. Sanchez could be a beast.

Newman is a fringy prospect at this point.... maybe a MIF backup. And I won't have room for him come next July.

Wacha is a good middle of rotation guy but a fair bit of mileage already on that arm.

Lol wat. Wacha's only turning 27 this summer. He's pitched 650 MLB innings, dude; 108 MiLB IP sprinkled in among those. That is in no way, shape, or form "a fair bit of mileage". There's a really good chance he hasn't even hit his prime yet.

While I would never tell someone how to run their team, I feel like you're overvaluing prospects and will be mired in a perpetual rebuild if you don't hang on to good MLB talent. Even though players are beginning to hit their peak at a younger age, most prospects still bust. I understand why you made this deal, though. In a vacuum, it's a decent return for Wacha, in my opinion. Sanchez is an interesting prospect, but if he busts, you didn't exactly get much in return.

Meh, I dunno. Play on.

I think this is a fair and reasonable deal for everyone involved. I don't think I would have paid a first to go from Folty to Matz though. Abom certainly has a type.

Well it's actually a second, but a high one.
