DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Please stop. Stop what? Asking basic questions?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 What are you basing that on? It's going to depend on the specific materials. Also importing when the dollar is weak generally makes things more expensive. There is a very good chance some of the materials are being sourced from outside of Canada meaning that currently it would cost more for the materials. That being said labour is technically cheaper right now and that will be a large portion of the cost. Sure Lipchitz, map me out the material, and I'll slap you down a ballpark figure, you can get anything you want in our great country, don't be absurd.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Stop what? Asking basic questions? If anything Canada's exporting on demand.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Agreed, although I've had plenty of great memories, especially through my 18 to 22 years. They are only memories if you can remember them, meat

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Nope hasn't happened...though I have seen people jiggle themselves around a bit, like the dad sits behind me and the kid takes his seat. Actually I think it's the people in front who have a worse time. Knees to the head and all. Back when the Jays weren't popular and the row in front of me was empty, the seats are perfectly built so my legs can usurp that space. Haha I know, I love putting my feet in the next row.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 The fan rush down YONGE ST. was nuts... I dragged an ******* skinhead for a hundred ft then, stepped on his head, lol.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Hurting people for kicks he thought... caught him 30 ft ahead in the wrong street direction... good times, stomped him with my own DM's, lol.

You can get anything you want but that doesn't mean the materials weren't imported or that the raw materials weren't exported, processed and then imported back in to Canada.

Spanky works construction. He would know whether the costs generally go up or generally go down in these scenarios. That's all I really wanted to know when I asked the question.

That's all I really wanted to know when I asked the question. He has no idea what the materials they need area and working construction does not mean you have any idea of the cost of materials. I'm sure he knows how to source materials and provide a quote but w/o knowing the materials how can he say it's cheaper? Lots of the big construction materials have increased in price. Steel has gone up, concrete has gone up. That's basically what makes up the RC, steel and concrete. We're also talking about improving a stadium something I'm guessing Spanky has absolutely 0 experience with.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 You're heads going to explode man, builders make a s*** tonne... Seeing as Rogers paid peanuts for the land plus the Stadium, they'll be in the black forever.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Lol where the f*** have you guys been sitting? I'm 6'4 and I've never had a problem with the seat sizes. Some people just complain about everything. 113 row 15. they had cup holders and wider seats up to row 10.
