admin Site Manager Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Gonna start banning this Cubs circle jerk.
Frag Verified Member Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 AL Central: Royals: Lorenzo Cain Tigers: Miguel Cabrera Twins: Miguel Sano Indians: Corey Kluber (a toss-up between him, Carrasco, and Lindor) White Sox: Chris Sale Having both Sano and Cabrera would likely force the team to trade EE (if the team wants to keep EE, then I guess Dozier from the Twins). The Indians have 3 players I could choose from and have no issue with. Sale is obvious.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 f*** I hate the Twins. They're like flat soda.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I can't wait for the Cubs to never win a world series during this era.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Projected WARs: Votto 4.7 Wainwright 3.7 Lucroy 3 Cutch 5.8 Total: 17.2 Cubs: Bryant/Arrieta 5.5 Rizzo 5.2 Heyward 4.8 Lester 4.4 Total: 19.9 Projection for Votto seems really low
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Projection for Votto seems really low Well, no. his 1.0 WAR year is still heavily weighted and his 7 WAR year is regressed to the mean. It's reasonable.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 So what I get from this is that the Cubs are pretty good.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Cubs: Rizzo Cardinals: Wainwright Pirates: Harrison? Brewers: Braun Reds: Votto Drug abuse is harmful to health.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 Well, no. his 1.0 WAR year is still heavily weighted and his 7 WAR year is regressed to the mean. It's reasonable. He was hurt that season. 5 out of the last 6 years he had more than 5.7 WAR, I'll take the over.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 He was hurt that season. 5 out of the last 6 years he had more than 5.7 WAR, I'll take the over. I think it's reasonable to discount a projection based on injury also guys don't get projected over 5.7 or whatever very often because projection systems are conservative and regress to the mean also your racist still
Frag Verified Member Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 Plus, he's 32. Have to factor that in.
