I love that KC, Texas and L.A. were really the only cities in which Donaldson didn't get a first place vote, not including Rosenthal.

 

Regional bias is alive and well, though Trout was certainly deserving.

Edit: Actually BOTH from BAL voted for Bautista... one for EE too

Eh, I'm not mad, if Trout won the MVP, I would've understood why.

Of course. I'm just baffled that he'd vote for Trout then convincingly argue for Donaldson a few days later LOL. I remember him saying, "Donaldson crushed Trout in WPA which shows that he was more crucial to his team's success" and then it comes out that he didn't trust his own logic?

Anyone remember Zaun saying that Trout was going to win the MVP and "its not even close"... then a couple days later mid-way though their series against the angles he changes his mind to Donaldson as the frontrunner?

Well to be fair, in the span of that week, Donaldson gained nearly 1 WAR over Trout.

The idiot who voted for Cruz over trout tweeted their avg hr and rbi numbers, put a #just saying hash tag.

 

He's right. Cruz did have a high avg, more homers, and more rbis. Those are just facts. In fact, he had a higher average and more homers than Donaldson too.

With Morales winning the Silver Slugger at DH I was expecting him to get some crazy vote or two in the MVP voting... can't believe someone actually placed him 4th

 

And who the f*** actually went with Cruz over Trout? How can a person justify it at all?? And to think he has a job as an baseball analyst...
