Not really too much of an increase over last year. As a fan this makes me pretty happy.

Flex pack prices are up as well

Also if anyone is looking to buy 5-10 games I am selling my season tickets at cost. 100 level infield most likely

I agree for most sections the increase isn't massive, but look at the 500's. Last year is was only $810 ($10/ ticket) and so this year it is up by 40% ($320 per ticket). This 40% is on top of over 25% increase from 2014 to 2015!

Can't blame them tbh. When seats on stubhub were going for $30-40 each they knew the prices were below value so an increase was inevitable.

Definitely see what you are saying, but they are kind of screwing season ticket holders over. The price break from flex pack to seasons is smaller in absolute value and even worse in relative value.

If you were wondering pricing for individual games it looks like it is out, albeit you have to find it in a round about way at the moment. I found it through the group sales link. http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/tor/ticketing/group_tickets_seating_map.jsp#hdrTab1

Yeah seems like in terms of pricing the 20 ticket flex pack is the best deal to get. Season ticket holders also get some good perks with the points program though which flex pack holders don't get.

I just hope they maintain the perks. I feel like they took for granted that deposits have been paid and expect that fans won't want to walk from their deposits, especially on the lower-priced seats.

When do flex packs go on sale?

Single game tickets for 2016 go on sale through all ticket channels on February 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., while renewals for existing Season Ticket and Flex Pack holders starts on November 19. New Flex Pack sales will begin on November 23, and Group Sales and Luxury Suite sales will commence on November 25. Complete information on promotions, events and 2016 ticket pricing can be found at bluejays.com.

If you're gonna juice tickets price, re-invest it in the MLB club for this year. That's all I ask.

The % of increase in ticket prices is lower than the rate the CAD declined. That being said there TV revenue will be a lot higher and the actual attendance should be much higher as well.

That was only after the resurgence. The fans weren't even willing to pay $10 when the Jays were a 500 team.

But who really wants to sit in the 500's anyways?

I would behind the plate, it'd have to be close behind the plate though.

I would rather have a 20-Game 200 Level Infield Flex Pack over season tickets 500 level.

Stephen R Brooks (@sbrooksbaseball) just indicated no guarantee of playoff tickets with flex packs this year... does that change things? I hope they take this extra money and find a star pitcher to take them back to the playoffs again so that matters!!!

Remember every season ticket / flex pack / 6pack holder had an opportunity for seconds this year.

He said very clearly that they sold so many season tickets this year that they just can't do it for flex packs.

A few reasons for this:

1) Seasons gets more than the number of tickets they take for the year

2) They expect demand to be up for flex packs regardless

They aren't even including the home opener for flex packs unless you get the 40-game pack!

That's not what he said at all. He said they are only guaranteeing STH at this point.

lol because they couldn't guarantee FP holders playoff tickets...

If you have 30K season seat holders and 30K FP holders then obviously you can't guarentee FP playoff priority since they would be over capacity.

"Yes but the only guaranteed access to purchase is with season tickets. We may for the flex products (1/2)...(2/2)....like we did in 2015 but it will depend on our #'s. Our season tickets are just so much higher. Check terms"

He also said terms and perks will be posted in full on Thursday in another post. I spoke to a rep today (high ranking based on title listed on Jays site). The information he provided aligned with the rationale I posted.

They may give flex packs a pre-sale, but no promises or guarantees will be made, at least as per the information I was provided, re: playoff tickets for most, if not all, flex pack options.

Clearly many bought the 2016 season tickets to get their playoff tickets in October and also many have left their playoff monies on credit to subsidize 2016 season tickets, the deadline for refund requests was last week.

Following the STH guaranteed playoff priority.

Depending on the final purchase numbers. I should imagine that the 40 game flex pack holders would be the first to get a playoff ticket offer should the numbers allow it, then the 20 ticket FP, followed by 15 game FP and finally 10 game FP if they can all be accomodated.

The home opener is a strange one though, do they really have the numbers from STH's and 40 game FP to fill that game.

As a multiple 20 ticket FP renewal I wanted to buy a couple of seats for that game but now it would seem that if I want a ticket then I'll be joining the single game ticket throng hoping to get lucky on the Feb 11th release date for the remaining seats, as i'll have to allocate my games upon renewal with no option for the home opener.

I suspect you will get some sort of a pre-sale if you hold a flex pack. They know everyone wants to go to the home opener. It is the most desirable game of the regular season. I think this is a move to ensure they sell more tickets. With this strategy a 20 game pack becomes 21, 15 game pack turns into 16, 10 game pack becomes 11. You'll be frustrated/ annoyed, but I'm sure they figure they will sell out the home opener whether or not it is included in the smaller packs.

More flesh from on the bones in this tweet from SRB today. I will have option to buy after purchasing my flex pack.

"For FPHs, when you buy your pack you get access to purchase opening day. It's just not included in your pack."

I've done it for 8 years now. Still believe that it's the best value in the place.
