Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 I hate you for making this. I kinda hate myself for making it. Really s***** night.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 4-game sweep for the Mets. New York's pitching is far superior than Kansas City, and we all saw them struggle vs. Bumgarner in last year's World Series. Harvey/Thor/DeGrom/Matz is much better than anything the Jays put out.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Royals can enjoy their ALCS win right now, since I can't imagine how bad a WS defeat in two straight years would feel. And of course, with payroll constraints and the rising Twins and Indians, KC will not be back here again for a while after this season. KC stands to lose a lot in free agency.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Hoping the Mets take this. Would be pretty sweet to see the Royals lose a second straight World Series. Yeah, I'm vindictive. You know what, though? f*** you. I wonder which team MLB will assist in order for them to win? I'd imagine it has to be New York.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) Unless it is somehow worse for them than game 6 of the 2011 WS, it won't be as bad as the Rangers. Man, nothing will be that bad. Game 6 of 2011 was something else. I can't imagine the sting has gone away for Rangers fans. Imagine being a Braves die-harder in the 90s. A fate worse than death. I wonder which team MLB will assist in order for them to win? I'd imagine it has to be New York. What do you mean? Who else would they help? EDIT: Oh you mean which team will they arbitrarily favour? I'd say the Mets because New York, yeah. Edited October 24, 2015 by intentional wok

nextyear Verified Member Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I will be rooting for the Mets. I haven't watched the World Series for many years but I have a renewed interest since I want Kansas City to lose.
A0FF Verified Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 I almost want the Royals to win because of how sickening the New York sports media has been over here. Best case scenario = Royals and Mets pitchers both get crushed, and the Royals get ump help to squeak out the series victory. This way everyone could say that the Royals had help throughout the playoffs, and the Mets fans could cry for another 30 years.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Torn between not wanting to watch as it will bring up feelings of lamenting our Jays aren't in it, and my bloodlust desire to see the NYM crush the Royals. Will be some great ball.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 All I have to say is - Blue Jays..wish you were here..

Will be some great ball. Won't have any baseball to look at over the next few months so I will be watching this. I am rooting for the Mets mores cuz of the "douchie" attitude of a few of the Royals displayed.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 f***, I really thought that TBS had this broadcast.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 GO METS!! miss you blue jays!
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Anyone else not watching this? The pain, amplified by dipshit analysis of how KC beat Toronto.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 I wonder how many different ways the Royals can beat the Mets
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Anyone else not watching this? The pain, amplified by dipshit analysis of how KC beat Toronto. Yeah but you could also potentially witness The Dark Knight mowing down their lineup.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Wow... ESPN has reported Edinson Volquez dad died today, dude's pitching tonight too, I'm rooting for KC tonight, I dread this day myself. Hope he wins for his pops!
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Terrible strikezone already lol
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Anyone else not watching this? The pain, amplified by dipshit analysis of how KC beat Toronto. the whole "best teams" dialog was a load of s***. expect them to disrespect the jays regularly now that bandwagon nation isn't watching the world series. the true fans will have to put up with their ********.
A0FF Verified Member Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Mets getting a taste of how annoying the Royals are already lol.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 Wow. Escobar started in on the Mets already. Good luck Mets. Holy s***.
