4-game sweep for the Mets. New York's pitching is far superior than Kansas City, and we all saw them struggle vs. Bumgarner in last year's World Series. Harvey/Thor/DeGrom/Matz is much better than anything the Jays put out.

Royals can enjoy their ALCS win right now, since I can't imagine how bad a WS defeat in two straight years would feel.

 

And of course, with payroll constraints and the rising Twins and Indians, KC will not be back here again for a while after this season. KC stands to lose a lot in free agency.

Man, nothing will be that bad. Game 6 of 2011 was something else. I can't imagine the sting has gone away for Rangers fans.

I haven't watched the World Series for many years but I have a renewed interest since I want Kansas City to lose.

I almost want the Royals to win because of how sickening the New York sports media has been over here. Best case scenario = Royals and Mets pitchers both get crushed, and the Royals get ump help to squeak out the series victory. This way everyone could say that the Royals had help throughout the playoffs, and the Mets fans could cry for another 30 years.
