5minutesforframing Verified Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 EXACTLY!!! Who the F cares who pitches tomorrow or Wednesday until all 27 outs are recorded in THIS game! Actually he meant more about looking forward to next series, this game is ovah
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 If you could get 4-5 innings from Dickey and then throw Price in there, the Rangers would be completely discombobulated. Then you have Stroman for game 5. Whos going to start ALCS game 1? Estrada or Price on short rest? Dickey will be fine tomorrow and were going to demolish Holland no need for Price tomorrow i think. Plus Hendriks and co are well rested
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Give Sanchez at least one hitter in the 9th. he has it going tonight.
DickeyJohnsonWang Verified Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 That's my guess. He will piggyback Price after Dickey to get by Game 4 and then if they succeed go with Stroman for Game 5. We'll see if it works. yeah, Dickey gets a short leash, Price comes in if he struggles. Stroman game 5. I was fine with this but just wondering if Price "warming up" for 2 innings now hampers those plans if he needs to come in by the 2nd or 3rd and eat a bunch of innings.
flafson Verified Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 We have Hendricks for the 9th IMO.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 wouldnt be his side day if we want him to go tomorrow though? Dickey's pitching tomorrow.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Would be Stroman in game 5 in that scenario... Who starts game one of the ALCS then
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Bullpen doing their job so far Loup, Sanchez well done
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 You guys complain about Gibby all you want, but Bannister has been a train wreck this game. At the most critical point in the game he uses his mop-up guy and then puts in his best reliever down by 4. Absurd mismanagement.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Who starts game one of the ALCS then Estrada. Who even cares right now?

Right but when we have Holland on the mound for the Rangers no need to dump in Price if Dickey is going to be half as decent as he was in the second half. If he gives up 5 runs in 6 innings I think it will be still enough. We wore out Texas' pen today and we own Holland's number. Dickey will be fine tomorrow.

When he brought in Chi Chi I assumed he was tanking the game or something. Crazy
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 All of a sudden Goins is back to being Goins at the plate. We need a few hits from him.
Atlas Verified Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Aaaaaahhhh! Thought Pillar got it over Choo. ShChoot!
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 goins has reverted back to crap
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Come on Bennie get on base
Floortom Verified Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Goins has looked terrible at the plate recently
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Estrada. Who even cares right now? All I'm saying is tomorrow's matchup is heavily favouring to us. If we can get 6 solid innings from Dickey while doing the usual against Holland, which is the most likely senario tomorrow, why burn Price when we can slot him into game 5 with us having the upper hand, pushing Stroman to start the ALCS?
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Estrada. Who even cares right now? Exactly, followed by Price Game 2, and Stro Game 3, no worries.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Feels like this game should be 10-1.
Soft Hands Verified Member Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 alright boys 3 more outs and we're back in the series

Diekman and Dyson will each be available for 2.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 Dickey's pitching tomorrow. Short leash though. No out of the question for Price to come out of the pen and throw mutiple innings. Still have Stroman for game 5.
