Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 That ball was wayyyyyyyyy outside?
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Some really iffy calls that inning.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 That ball was wayyyyyyyyy outside? Arrieta <3333333
candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 No way that can come back if he keeps getting calls 6 inches off the plate.
baubau Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Bucks still have a bright future. They lost the season unfortunately when they couldn't close out against the Cardinals for top spot.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Arrieta should be able to go 7 on 85-90 pitches then turn it over to Strop and Rondon.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 2 straight strikeouts on balls off the plate....time for roboumps
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Yet, Gerrit Cole is a shut down Ace, s*** happens, Arrieta is painting. that strike 3 call was bogus
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 LoL at that call Guys, Montero's an elite framer. What'd you expect?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Arrieta <3333333 Waaaaaaaaaayy Outside.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Montero's an elite framer. What'd you expect? That wasn't even a great frame. That was a really bad call.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Pirates getting screwed hard by the ump... and Schwarber is a scary beast.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 That wasn't even a great frame. That was a really bad call. When you consistently paint the corners for strikes, you're gonna get the calls.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Guys, Montero's an elite framer. What'd you expect? It's almost like this is new. Sabermetrically-inclined FO with a good framer behind the dish. Playoff teams off the top of my head who employ above-average framers (presenters?): Mets, Cardinals, Dodgers, Cubs, Pirates, Astros (Yankees too), Blue Jays. I'm not too sure how the Rangers' catchers rate in that department.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Lol @ Orioles giving up and ace like that
Shogun89 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 They should bean Arieta. Maybe that will rattle him and slow him down.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Wow, Schwarber's exit velocity <3
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Schwarber home run -> 450 ft.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Wayyy outside!?!?! Cervelli totally didn't just steal that strike! #UmpShow

Dr Negative Verified Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 f*** that, it's time for roboumps(right after martin's contract runs out) Surely the players' union is going to block any move for roboumps considering how much pitch framing is going for on the market.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Surely the players' union is going to block any move for roboumps considering how much pitch framing is going for on the market. Also, the umpires union is a thing too.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Also, the umpires union is a thing too. How can they do anything about it if mlb wants roboumps?
