Nafro Verified Member Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I wouldn't draft Labourt. Tinoco could be something, but Coors Ugh, I agree on both I will probably go Amir Garrett, Jhroly Cotton, Bickford, or even Connor Greene with my last two picks. Isan Diaz or Victor Robles?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Jesse Sanchez Sources say Lucius Fox had verbal deal with LAD & stunned org when signed with SFG. Dad was heavily involved. EJM's father also a big factor
Cyborg Verified Member Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Would you draft Jairo Labourt or Jesus Tinoco in a keeper league? I wish I would have taken Labourt instead of Smoral last year. It would seem that Smoral has reverted to his "Couldn't hit water if he fell off a boat" ways. Unless you're at the 20th round of a 20 team draft no.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Solid single to RF by Ureña batting right handed
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Alberto Tirado time. First pitch 99 mph
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 Solid single to RF by Ureña batting right handed I thought they started the switch hitting experiment with him last season then abandoned it. Guess they haven't given up on it yet.

David Harris, Jason Leblebijian, Derrick Loveless. Boxscore: http://web.theabl.com.au/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2015_10_24_briwin_canwin_1&t=g_box&sid=l595
King Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) 7 inning game is over.. 1st of a double header. Harris looked pretty toolsy. Tons of speed/range out in CF, covers a lot of ground. Showed some power with the bat by hitting a grand slam in the 2nd inning, and his speed later in the game by getting on base with a bunt single. Struck out swinging on a slider way outside in his last AB. Finished 2/4 with 1 run, 1HR, 4RBI, 1K. Didn't see much of Leblebijian. Finished 1/4 with a double and 2 strikeouts and a throwing error. Loveless looked pretty slow and slugish out in RF. 2 walks and a HBP, 3 runs scored. LHP Colton Turner pitched, he's coming off TJS. No velo readings.. but he struggled quite a bit, 1IP 2H 2ER 1BB 1K 1HRA 2nd game is starting but I'm going to sleep. Loveless in CF, Harris in RF. Edited October 24, 2015 by King
Laika Community Moderator Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Did you guys notice this? He’s come a long way, and Guerrero Jr., is doing it at a new position. Projected to be an outfielder and perhaps first base as he ages and his body thickens, the Blue Jays have had him at third base, and believe with a strong arm and good actions, he might have a legitimate chance there. “It’s funny,” Anthopoulos said. “Everyone used to put him in the outfield and say that maybe he’s got to play first base because of his body type, and when we worked him out we asked him, ‘What position do you like playing the most?’ He said, ‘Well I like playing third base,’ and no one really talked about him as a third baseman. “And we said, ‘If you like third base, if you think that’s your best position, let’s take a look.’ We hit him some ground balls and his arm strength was outstanding and his hands were very good. He hasn’t played there much but we were impressed. We were pleasantly surprised with how good his actions looked at third.”
King Old-Timey Member Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Did you guys notice this? Yes. The Guerrero Academy twitter has said he's always played 3rd base. Future Miguel Sano? Guerrero Academy @mhallbaseball Oct 1 @RobSilver @GideonTurk he's always played both OF and 3B. This was during drills
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 When I saw him in TO he was taking ground balls at third with Bautista

Nafro Verified Member Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 lol Tellez is masive, and slow af It pains me to watch him spin his wheels out of the box. Especially as someone who loved to bunt for a base hit and played fastball. Though I most certainly never hit the ball out of any stadium!

I give the flip a 5 on a scouting scale. I think he can get it up to a 6 once he fills out. lol
