Ah f*** what is it doing on the front page

Everyone checking out the jays prospects I guess

Yeah I noticed Fangraphs has a "Trending" articles section on the homepage now. So some old articles get pushed there with traffic I guess.

But seriously what are they going to do with all these infielders?

Some busts of course. Some position changes? Some trades?

Something has to give. We have guys in their 20's all over the IF at the major league level.

I guess you worry about it when they're starting to show themselves as MLB ready...

And FFS would it have killed one or two of these kids to have been left handed hitters? Stupid birth….

Trades, baby. They already traded Martin and Smith. If the system continues to produce fruit, it's trade bait.

Not an issue until they are breaking down the door to the majors.

Interesting pitches. Looked like sinker(maybe 2 seamer), 4 seam FB, curve and 2 seam FB.

Why is Keegan Matheson ranking prospects?

He works for MLB.com and has for awhile, and is probably the most knowledgeable Blue Jays reporter out there when it comes to prospects. I'd have him ahead of Ben, Arden, Shi, & Mitchell.

Ethan Diamandas

@EthanDiamandas

INF Leo Jimenez — #BlueJays’ 5th-best prospect — hit just one HR in 59 minor-league games last year.

His BP in Florida so far has been wild — he just launched a ball off the batter’s eye here at the PDC.

Looks like he’s bulked up. A guy to watch in the minors this year.

Eric Pardinho's fallen so far due to injuries that he's not in the Top 30 lol.

Thanks Jerb, that's super exciting.

but he knows nothing about prospects

like, Grant77 with a ham radio could scout better than Keegan. All due respect to Keegs.

don't Jon Mayo and friends do these mlb.com rankings?

I disagree. I've heard him on podcasts and read his articles on dot com. I would say he's quite a bit knowledgeable on them, especially Jays prospects.

Miguel Vargas is the next Dodgers prospect who’s going to be a superstar. Him going deep off of Shane Bieber:

Is he likely to be up this year?

There's a good chance we could see him later in the year in my opinion.

I'd be testing him out a little bit in CF, see if he can play there. Some reports have him as an elite defender.

Man, imagine having both Orelvis and Moreno kicking down the door to MLB this season. If Biggio has a bounce back and Espinal adds some pop to his repertoire the Jays will have Rays type problems to deal with this season. Pretty easy to shore up any holes that you see on your roster if you have those type of "problems" to deal with.

Biggio and Espinal have both been placed on notice. I also expect Groshans to have a big year with the bat so the upper minors of the Jays system may start becoming pretty crowded with high end infield prospects soon.

I expect Groshans to get some OF reps this year.
