Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Damn he should have signed with a real franchise. Dude is going to get no coverage and he'll probably end up signing a puny ass extension with 5 team options where he'll be traded half way into it. Aka the Tampa Bay way. Find a way out of Tampa, Wander. Asap. That's not the share I was looking for, lol.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 TJ Zeuch is doing that no-hitty thing again, but he only has 3 Ks through 8; 1 BB, 1 HBP, 101 P-67S.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 TJ Zoiks having an okay start tonight. 8 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K, 0 HR, 13-5 GO-F0, 101 pitches Game still going.

He just won't be able to make it work with such an awful K-rate. Way too much left up to chance to be getting called up to the Jays' infield D.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 I wonder if they run him out there after 101 pitches. I hope so, lol. That'd still be a huge accomplishment.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Jinx. The no hitter will die. I think I'd need to be superstitious in order for the jinx to work.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 I think I'd need to be superstitious in order for the jinx to work. Yup, no such thing.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Author Posted August 20, 2019 I think I'd need to be superstitious in order for the jinx to work. Is it the person who says that needs to be superstitious or the person receiving the message?
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Author Posted August 20, 2019 Yup, no such thing. Really????? No Way.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Wow, what a catch that was by the CF to preserve the no-hitter, holy s***.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 He did it. No hitter, 114 pitches.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Two down. Huge catch for JDavis as well. Just watched it! Saved the No Hitter!
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Author Posted August 20, 2019 Wow, what a catch that was by the CF to preserve the no-hitter, holy s***. Outstanding!
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Never one to be outdone, Joey Murray is currently enjoying another typical Joey Murray-esque game. 5 2/3 IP 6 H 0 R 1 BB 6 K 83 P-54 S He's getting the yank.
Barkerfan23 Verified Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Zeuch might as well start at the majors next week let's see what hes got
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 It can work, like a Hudson for example. Back end rotation or bust however. Speaking of Hudson, he was just pulled @ 6 and 1/3 throwing a no-no... 100+ pitches.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 T.J Zeuch reminds me a lot of Big Jim Clancy.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 T.J Zeuch reminds me a lot of Big Jim Clancy. Yes, good comp. Although I'd call him Clancy light, the Jays D is nowhere as good then.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Yes, good comp. Although I'd call him Clancy light, the Jays D is nowhere as good then. Let's hope Zeuch's career even somewhat resembles Clancy's. We might get lucky and have 3-4 of our young pitching prospects turn out to be something. Things could get very interesting in a few years.

Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Holy fist f*** - what a grab my Davis. Is Davis our very own Fisher? A guy who just needs an extended chance to prove himself? I realize he's probably always been old for his level, but at every stop, he's needed that initial season to get settled in, only to tear it up the next year. 2015 A+ : 93 wRC+ 2016 A+ : 142 wRC+ 2017 AA : 109 wRC+ 2018 AA : 134 wRC+ 2018 AAA : 97 wRC+ 2019 AAA : 125 wRC+ He's had good walk rates throughout his career and obviously has great speed and defense. You'd think this s*****, rebuilding team could give him more than 79 PA's over 2 seasons. As a minimum, you'd think he could carve out a career as a 4th OFer.
